Since his inability to do anything or to make any decision on Libya....President has lost 10 point in his approvals. He had a good bumb after the Tuscon shooting. But he as blind to teh ME events.....

He is at 46 and falling like a rock. About to have his gov't shut down. Lost Obamacare to the judges rulings. Lost in the Wisconisn union struggle. Had to change his White House staff with the 2012 mid term defeat.

So honestly, I don't see him kicking any bodies butt.....

Worse for him....this fall in rating is coming from DEMs. He has lost 5 point of DEM support in the last week.

Obama needs that supplemental spending bill. To keep the gov't running. Conservative REP are coming out against it.

They are going to force Obama to down size his FED government.

You thought Wisconsin was ugly? When Obama starts to lay off SEI and other FED gov't unions workers to Washington is going to get very ugly when this shutdown occurs.

REP are saying FED funding for Planned Parenthood....for NPR....for ACORN....for other such liberal agencys and program....have to go, if the supplement is to get passed.

Tea Party elected are coming out in support of the no vote on the supplemental. Saying that cutting the budget by a mere 6b is not enough.

DEM Senator Schumer.....suggestion is that Majority Leader Bohner needs to leave the Tea Party 'behind' to avert a shutdown. Like that is going to happen........

REP office holder in small government office are not the problem Dude.

Had Obama passed his campaign finance reform.....this would have stopped. Had he passed any campaign reform this would have stopped.

But Reid and Pelosi were to far back in back rooms making deals that they could not be talking about, on legislation that could not be talked about, to do any reform bills.

Had they brought up campaign finance reform....it would have killed Obama care....the DEM would have split on the two issues.
Played them against one another for more Obamacare or less reg on campaign reform.

So Reid and Pelosi stayed in the back room...making 1000s of pages of unconstitutional legislation that is basically worthless. And what is worse, Obama signed it. That piece of unconstitutional legislation has the signature of a HARvard trained lawyer on it.

Play it all you want, Dude. But Obama and the DEM failed to do campaign finance reform while they controlled government. It was a promise that they made to the American people. Only they turned around spent the wealth of the country.

This was all one massive money grap. They took from campaign donators globally. They got in bed with the Chinese on the T-Bills. They earmarked out to liberal causes and to liberal organization billions of US tax payer dollars. Now they fail on their campaign promise...to reform campaign contribution/spending....so they can try again in 2012-2016.

Do you realize a US baby born today.....has $28000 debt to pay?
Before they even take their first steps....they owe because of Obama's and DEM spending. It get worse....the rate Obama is spending......Baby born in 2050...will owe just under $200,000 before it takes a step.

That is what his deficit spending has done......he sold out America's future for his political ideology.

I was thinking about this the other day. Can you tell us why Obama rejected the $84m in Federal election campaign funds? I think that I know why.

You have to curtail your fund raising if you accept the federal funds. Obama campaign was making so much money from donations from foreign parties and internet donations......that taking the moneys from US Gov't (eg. tax payer money) was going to be cutting back in amount received.

A quotes on Obama's 2008 financial tactics might be in order.

"Common Cause, which advocate public financing, for years "has said the presidential public sector funding was badly outdated and in need of major overhaul, so we made a decision at the beginning of the campaign not to criticize canidates participating in a flawed system. the groups' Presdinet Bob Egdar says. "Obama get a demerit for reneiging on his pledge" but gets praise for not taking lobbyist donation and supporting reform.

Um....a question here. Were is the campaign finance reform that canidate Obama was supporting in 2008? Um..................
With control of the complete government for two years.....the
DEM could not agree on campaign finance reform.

So was all talk and no show.

The DEMs talked reforming a broken Washington and making new campaign finance laws. To under cut the McCain/Palin on government reform and finance reform. But in reality....they like this collect the small donations and have the option of Federal fund just fine.

And if you think that the unions, the big banks of the bailout,
the GEs, the GMs, and just the old foreign money man is not going to play and pay into the funding of Obama's 2012 run....

Just a suggestion Zues.....try real time and near real satellite imagery of the Libyan retaken cities and towns. I seen imagery with actual four man military units moving across a field. You can plot direction and determine mission from the imagery. Also new mass graves can be located with it. We used it in Kosovo for this.

When guys like Soros make campaign contributions in the millions....they don't do them without the expectation of
quid pro quo. They expect something back.

In this case, it was the both the buying of a White House and the
buying of American democracy. When a one political canidate spends 1b dollars in running a 2 year campaign for office....the MOST in the history of the country...something it totally wrong with our countries campaign financial laws.

Both on the contributions and on the spending rules.

Congress....the REP Controlled Congress....should address this prior to the 2012. With new legislation that restricts the canidate spending for the Presidential, Senate, and House seats.
That force canidates to declare foreign donations both to sources and country.

Canidate taking donations from terrorist supporting countries or individuals associated with terrorism should be required to divest the contribution.

Respectful limits to campaign spending....in a age of mass media and internet twitter, facebook and utube....were placing campaign material online at no cost.....and free media Q and A....should reduce canidate spending during this time of financial hardships in the country.

That President Obama would suck 1b out of the economy for
his 2008 run.....when the country was falling into a recession....shows a arrogant level of disrespect for the country, the American political process, and a buying of a White House.

I don't think Sarah is going to run. That 1b price tag that President Obama ran up for his 2008 canpaign...has many REP and Tea Party canidates slowing down on announcing.

Bringing us to a good question. If a person is going to spend 1b for a job that pays $400,000 per year (plus life long benefits).
How financially astute is that person?

To get a return for his for his $1b investment, President Obama would have to hold the office for 250 years. With a two term limit, that is legally impossible to do.

Does a politician...that has a limited resources....that finds himself/herself....collecting donations and then owing $1b in campaign spending .....have they altered the basic concept of
democracy in the country? Were at one time anyone could have been
President.

Have they made the country better....just by making the Presidency a cash game of donations and campaign contracts?

Stratfor just filed a report that says Libya....prior to GWB taking them of the terrorist nations list.....was major terrorist sponsor. That Qdaffi has worked hard to get off the list.

The concern is now....that it fall back into being a terrorist sponsoring country....with the break apart....lIbyan desert training camps will be re opened.

Those African mercs...likely all have some terrorist connection.
So Qdaffi knew were to get them via his past terrorist connections.
Anyone want to bet on Somalia as a source?

Stratfor went on to say that the Russian made equipment that Qdaffi supplied to terrorist groups were all so well known....some had signature lot number that the intell community knew were coming from Libya.

Maybe it is time for the Administration to have a close and deeply personal talk with Mr. Blout about he had delivered into Libya from Russia. He is looking at life.....he can shave a generation off with a little cooperation.

Bring me to why Obama was going to sale those 50 M113 to Qdaffi.
Europe gets most of QDaffi oil. The 50 M113 would help QDaffi and his sons would be in power in the Libya for the next 40 years or so.

This sale was to help assure QDaffi has full control of Libya oil to sell to the Europeans. It was all about keeping oil flowing to Europe.

Maybe the deal was sent up when England was releasing the Lockerbie bomber....so BP could get Libyan oil field contracts.
Camrons England was use as a middle man on the M113 deal. Qgaffi tell the English you got to sweeten the deal some. One man for
oil fields contracts is not much of a trade. So add in some military hardware. Well the UK did not want sell Qdaffi there stuff....but it was OK to sell some used American stuff.

So again we have BP/Obama/Qdaffi/Lockerbie/Cameron playing tag team international politics. LOL Next it will be Obama/Ahmenerjada/Netanyhu/bin Laden doing a deal.

This is the kind of 'highly moral' foreign relationships

Bringing me to the burah that is going between Karsia Afghanistan gov't and Obama Administration. Karisa is saying that any civilian casualties with a Predator strike is one too many and the US is fully responsible. Obama saying that war time casualities of civilian cannot be helped.

So Karsia is trying to reduce the number of Predator strikes in his country. The Predator is a major offensive weapon there.
Meaning that Karsia is trying to slow down our withdraw in 2017.
He knows that if the conditions on the ground are still are bad, we don't leave.

What if the power and decision makers have instead of a no fly zone....a naval blockade of Libya in mind? Most all of Libya cities, population and oil facilities is located on the Med coastline. That is were this being fought and decided. Not in the desert deep inside Libya.

If they place a blockade into place.....they can confiscate Qdaffi out flowing oil shippments. Those African merc need to get paid.
Cut Qdaffi's flow of funds and payments....and soon they head home.

The Libyan Navy is not near as dangerous as its Air Force. A blockade would still let the Libyan decide this themselves. But with Qdaffi's violation of human rights....in supressing the protests....the UN would recongize and approve a blockade.

Not only that. It is easy for those ship to control the airspace above them. All have advanced radars and anti air craft defense missiles. If they get with 25 miles of the coast...they can even a enforce a coastal no fly zone on those coastal cities.

If they do....Qdaffi will find ways to engage them. He has to. Those oil shipment have to got thru. But you can layer a blockagde deep into the med .....were his Navy and Air Force cannot reach.

Is the M113 just a personal carrier? No. You modify a M113 with a anti tank missile system...it is as deadly as a Abram tank. Standard is a 50 Cal machine gun. But it can mount a gatling gun...or a small grenade launcher. Some have been modified to carry mortars.

The White House was dealing with a whole lot bad news here for the Libyan rebells. Each one of M113 carries a platoon of infantry. They have trailer hitch to tow cannons and anti air systems.

To be honest....since the Lockerbie bombing....this is the first US weapons sale to Libya that I can think of. That is 25 years and 6 administration.

I want to be fair here. I know that President Obama, himself did write this deal. Someone in his White House that wanted a better relationship with Qdaffi did. Then slipped the contract thru to
Congressional review. Hoping it would slide thru. Likely without Obama's knowledge. But this is were the buck stops here thingee comes into play.

When you elect a president ...you elect a group of people to run and manage the country. Remember I said much earlier....it was not Obama that brothered me....but the people around him that did.
