So how close had the Qdaffi gov't gotten to the Obama administration?

Qdaffi youngest son, was in the US....on a State Department approved internship. The internship was at the request of a US Engineering firm (AECOM) that has contracts in Libya to improve their infracsture.

He had gov't approval (likely the White House) to meet with Northrup Grumman and Lockheed....two major defense contractors.

So how does one go from building and infrastructer projects to
DoD contractors and high technology firms? Interesting question, yes? Well many of Northrup and Lockheed systems are high tech DoD communications systems that are planted in building and are considered infrasturer. He also met with Apple, Google and Intel.
All important source of information systems makers.

We now know that this young Qdaffi is head of a brutal Libya special forces unit (read secret police). Secret police need high speed communications system to keep tabs on the opposition. Things like wire taps, net taps, and other ways to compromise the opposition. All approved by the Obama administration.

Again, President Obama is helping a Sunni regime stay in power.

Like most American I have a original birth certificate. I can use for identiciation and for documents.

But the Obama birth certificate issue could easily be resolved.
All the President had to do was sign a release form so that his friend.....the Governor of Hawii.....could make the document public.

If you did not like the first two post in my Libyan assessment. You are going to hate this. This is now predictions.

Prediction Number 1) Libyan will soon become a stalemate. If fact already has begun to stalemate.

The rebells were defeated in their western advance on Skrirt, Qdaffi home town. One front of the conflict has stalemated.

President Obama has already begun to order USS Naval force out of the area. And to reduce the number of cruise missile and aircraft strikes in Libya. This is the GWB moment of "mission accomplished" for the Obama Administration. Only were GWB was a honest mistake.

This one is calculated. They destroyed just enough of Qdaffi Air Force and Armor to assure he cannot win. But without the UN OK for boots on the ground, they cannot assure that Qdaffi will be defeated any time soon. In other words......a stalemate. Done by military calculations and geo political negotiations.

Obama has said he wants Qdaffi out.....but will not do a decaptation mission on him. When it was tried by the British, the White House quickly distanced themselves from the strike. No more decaptitation strike have been attempted. So ask yourself why?

Qdaffi is a Sunni Muslim. A Arab Muslim. Who did the White House sell those billions of military weapons systems to? Saudi, UEA, Bahrain,Kuwait....all Sunni Muslims. He does not want Qdaffi killed or removed, Qdaffi is Sunni Muslim. It would upset the apple cart.

If he does it to Qdaffi, He might do it Kuwait royal family or the Suadi royal family. The same family that hung a gold medallion around his neck. It is interesting the GWB senior saved the Royal Saud family big time, when he stopped Sadam Hussien with that military coalition in the first Gulf War. Did he get a royal chain of honor from the Saud family? No. But a young Barack Obama does. All because a young Barak Obama has really strong ties to the Sunni sect of Islam.

Who is doing the street protest and the rebelling in Libya? Shia Muslims. That is why the White House is holding up the military aid to them. Also why there is no boots on the ground. The Shia Middle East up rising of 2011, is in response to the US weapons sells to the Sunni Muslim, including one Col Qdaffi of Libya.
The Shia 2011 Uprising is directly pushed by Shia Iran. But it was triggered by one Barack Obama and his weapon sales to the Sunni families in the ME. Sure as shootin.

By the way who is the Kenyan Muslim cousin? He is Sunni.

Well it get better.

Prediction Number 2

Gas price in Europe will climb substantially this year. This come back to the original post made by Dude here. The Libyan stalemate is going to cause a 7-9 % reduction in crude to Europe.
For a substantial period of time. Just like the BP crisis did in the US.

Oil companies will not place thei crews back into a war torn Libya. And the rebells have little ability to run the oil fields.
Qdaffi has no reason to sell to a Europe that is bombing him.

This is were the calculation of the White House and its energy policy, are designed to hurt Europeans in the pocket book. Why?
To force Europe to go green. To buy those GM Volts, those GE Windmills, those American made lithium fuel cells that are being made in the quantity now. It really bites does it not, Dude?

President Obama forcing his green energy policy on Europe this way? But that is what he is really close to doing. Maybe that is why NATO is dragging it feet on taking command of the Libyan thing. Because when it does....and it will....it means that boot on the ground decision to end Libyan stalemate will be NATOs.

Eventually, Dude.....that is exactly in 8-10 months NATO will do.
But by then...Europe will be crying for those GE Volts, GE windmills, and fuel cells.

If you cannot see what is happening here.....well just remember were you read it first. President Obama has just place Europe under the Green electric driven bus.....

Please tell us what the truth is then....with Obama birth document...did I get it wrong? His African trip to Kenyan and addresing local with Ojanda? His attempting to sell Qdaffi the
M113s? His accepting the UN Resolution that can keep Qdaffi in power?

If Obama came out with his full birth certificate. He does not get the play in AFrica. Play being support and press. If he made himself out to be a Christian Politician from Chicago.....he is not listened to.

But he has a cousin Ojanda that is Muslim and is in the political business in Kenya. Kenya is mostly Christian. So Obama visits Kenya and make campaign engagements with Ojanda....never showing his complete Christian faith or his American birth certificate.

Africans.....begin to think that he is one of thiers. A American from Muslim Kenyan father. More Africana and more Muslim
than Christian and American. Qdaffi via his Ojanda connections after Obama's take office.....hits him up for the M113s sale.

Obama's White House approves the sale....prior to the ME protest breaking out. Then the protest borke out. This tells us a couple of things. Obama's White House has nothing to do with the protest. Had they....they would not have signed the approval on the M113 sale. Also that Obama's White House was indeed caught flat footed by the Middle East protest. They did not know that they were coming.

If hiding his birth certificate and faith played well in Africa.
It just might play well in the US. So for his 2008 Presidential run, thye keep his faith and birth certificate low profile. The American black community has a large number of Muslims....so their thinking that he might be Muslim cannot hurt him. He attends REV Wright Church....which has a very loose Chrisitan doctrine to it.... again....minimizing his Chrisitan faith.

They give out a small birth document on him....that doesnot cover his full birth document info. So? He can be anyman from any country. The perfect international President.

It is really something. The cost, the effort, the thinking and the time to make Mr. Obama, into what he is today. It did not happen by accident......

Come on Juan...be positive. If the Cruise missiles were not heading into Libya.....they would be headed into some other country. At least Obama got the the country right.....Qdaffi is a nasty guy. Unlike Clinton that was shooting into the Sudan after bin Laden who was standing in Afghanistan.

Beside I heard we handed Libyan things off to NATO and the Europeans. We broken it and now they get the clean and fix up.
It is their back yard oil field. What can be wrong with that?

Just a side note, I thought his speech last night was one his best.
He is definitely getting the style for making robust and yet Presidential addresses.....

He talked about Libya ...but not a word on Syria, Yemen, Bahrain,....leaving us to wonder if intervention is in the future for those countries.

Were is the limit of humantarin threat and danger....before one become active in a military responses? The administration say sit is a case by case basis.

Or is it because 90% of Libyan crude goes to Europe?

And Syria sends none there. Yemen sends none there. Bahrian only sits on a oil chock point.

First is was Louis Farracon.....friend of Qdaffi. Now it is the Black Panthers. The Black Panthers are saying that Michelle Obama should leave the President....because......he is a uncle Tom.

Our Friends in Russia....are saying the the US/UK and NATO air strike are not what the UN Resolution called for. That they are being one sided....and are going to overthrow a government.

I might just add....that Russia has a oil field in Libya as well.
If they can prop Qdaffi up.....and extend his regime.....they might be awarded many more oil fields in the country.

But anyways.......Obama has to play around the Constitution issue, EU oil issue and the UN issue on Libya. Can he do it? Likely. But Grinrich and Romney are not dummies......when the Presidential debates come in 2012.

He better have his stuff in place. Grinrich know the Constitution and its history as well as any man. Romeny has the money to hire the experts to give him the weakness to Obama acts here.

It is interesting that impeachment is being called for on both side of aisleway and from both ends of the political spectrum on Obama's Libyan intervention decision.

So we can now say.....Obama is somewhere in the middle......

Instead we have a White House that uses Sen McCain idea on the Libyan no fly zone....and then fails to invite him to be on the multi party phone call that explain Obama logic on the decision.

Heck Obama been sharing all his major timeline decision with bin Laden now....the dates on the withdrawals. He might as well tell Qdaffi when and were the cruise missiles are being launched.

Chavez is part of OPEC.....everytime OPEC has a price increase...he supports it. Chavez wants to devalue the American currency on the world market, and to replace it. Chavez supports guys like Qdaffi. Chavez destablizes Columiba to his south and Panama to his left. Both are strong US allies and economically important to the world or in the war on drugs.

So I say it is Buzo trimming time. Castro, Chavez, Ahmendinejad, Kim...we play some real world economic hardball on them. Let the freedom movement of the middle east spread to their countries and place them into the dust bins of history.

In a few years will not need their oil, their cigars, their caviar, or their political ideology.

If their people cannot be inspired by the ME street protest in doing some Buzo trimming ...with a little help from the CIA and some unknown facebook and twitter types. Then they deserve the oppression and goverace that they get.

Those flames for freedom in Cuba, Columbia, NKorea, and Iran are already there. They just need some White House support and Federal Goverment support.

The Obama team were in the Sunday press shows...explaining Libyan intervention to the press.

A couple of things to come out.

They have reduced the number of USS military vessel that presnt around Libya.

Also they are saying that this could take months. Even with the
hand off to NATO.....when DoD Sec't Gate was asked if we would be out by the end of the year....he said it was to early to say.

For those that are math challenged.....that is over 8 months away. This is going to be long and complicated.

President Obama has waffled his way thru this so far. First Qdaffi had to go. Now Qdaffi can stay and we are not trying to kill him, because of the executive orders. But maybe some of our allies are trying to kill him. Maybe some clarity will come from his Monday address to the country.

Else come January 2012 the country will be going... over this decision to intervene in Libya. Knowing that, I suspect.....the politician Obama...is going to want to be out of the Libyan intervention by the time the 2012 run is made. answering questions about a extended war is not good political fodder.

German President Merkel decided to stay out of the Libyan intervention.....and still got a whoppin at the polls recently.
Had she joined, the whoppin would have been worsin. Me thinks.

But there is another little issue here. That is the Whit eHouse acting as a agent for the UN. No doubt the White House joined the Libyan intervention on the UN resolution and not a Congressional motion. Who does the White House work? The UN and the people of the world or the Constitution and the American people?

Their pay checks are signed by the US Treasury. Not by the UN.

Qdaffi is wanted by the ICC...International Criminal Court...for his acts against Libyans. Does Obama breach the UN resolution with boots on the ground to chase down Qdaffi for the ICC? If so, again who does the White House work? Some foreign court or the people of the country?

All question marks for the future. And the 2012 Presidential debates. The ammo that guys like Grinrich and Romney are acquiring from the Libyan intervention is substantial and potentially deadly to a second Obama election.

I thought this was about Syria.....but I can see the age old issue has taken over....

Syria is part of the Isreal/Palestine issue.

If I have the history right. Arafat and el Fatah were booted out of Jordan by King Hussien.....after a really bloody 7 day fight. They show up at the Syrian border....were Assad senior....lets them entire, and pass thru enroute to Lebsnon.

But Assad had some demands on then for the entry and passage.
Soon Black September was organized....made up mostly with elFatah members and financed by Syria....for terrorist attacks on both Israel and the west. Black September was basically a proxie for Syria.

Bringing it to today. The younger Assad...is now promising a gov't investigation into doing reform and into easing the emergency laws of the 1970s. Those emergency laws were put into place because of the Isreal 7 day war. Also he lets out of prison....100....that the protestors want freed. According to the article I read...the 100...were mostly Islamics.

What I don't get here. Assad is Shia and in the other ME countries were the protest broke out it was Shia driven protest.
So now you are telling me that Syrian Shia are protesting against a Shia ruler, the son of a man that helped to begin Islamic terrorism? I don't think so.

No, rather I think that the Syrian protest are Sunni driven. Assad's been arresting Sunni radicals. Hosni Mubarak has been arresting Shia radicals. ben Alie been arresting Shia radicals.
QDaffi just been arrest them all that are outside of his tribe. The two sects have been using the rules that favors thier side....to arrest the radicals of the other side.

These present ME leaders fear Islamic radicalization as much as we do in the west.....it is a threat to their power.

But that is the reason it is unfair. Big business like GE know
the loopholes and have the talented accounting staffs to take advantage of them. A small business that is hiring a local CPA to its annual taxes, will not use the loopholes. So big business pays less than the 36% and small business is paying the full rate.

For GE to do what it did. It made offshore accounts. That alone precludes most small business. Few are going to run to Trinadad Tobago to open a $100K account. It does not pay. But for GE....to go to Trinadad Tobago and open up a $100M account does pay.

Personally I think we should have penalties for firms that move their funds off shore. Part of our 2008 economic crisis was a liquidity crisis in the banks. The movement of American big business moneys had already been going on for quiet a while.
So those off shore account were no long in the American banking system. So it contributed to the economic problem of 2008.

Moving on to something that has relevance and importance.

Syria. Syria is fused for a rebellion. Assad is of the minority Shia sect and the country is 70% Sunni. His law enforcement and military have handled the street protest badly. A number have been killed.

With the Syria in a bi laterol defense treaty with Iran....having the present Assad gov't fall into the dust bins....is a very good thing. If it does....then like the Sunni gov't that replaces this one will not be close to Iran. And can help to stablize the region.

Not only that. But with Syria bordering the Palestine west bank and Lebanon....one can vision a end to weapons transfers to Hezbolloh and Hamas.

So?

Maybe time to for the Obama administration to use that new CIA based program for making twitter and face book accounts....and gets some virtual Sunni leaders.... ...to lead this Syrian rebellion.

I hear Achmed the bomb maker's gig as a vitrolist dummy is nearing a end. He might like to try his hand.....er....finger bones at it.

Actually I would like to get Achmed the bomb maker's opinion on the ME rebellions and other things. The things he could tell us about Qdaffi....would literally flame your hair. And what he can say about alAwalki down in Yemen....well that is a good chapter in the next Richard Bear's next book. Or his take on bin Laden might be good as well.....how bin Laden recruited him as a youth. And then took his innocence with a faulty blasting cap.

Geraldine Ferraro passed away from cancer, earlier today. Though left in political opinion, I thought that her stance on Sarah Palin during the 2008 campaign was one of the more fair and honest on the other side of the political aisle.

As the first woman to run for the United States Presidency, her opinion and knowledge to what the Palin's encountered was far more accurate and honest than many.

She had wanted to live to see a woman in the Presidency. That did not happen. But she did see the third highest position in the government to be occupied by Nancy Pelosi. She saw the glass ceiling break in the American corporate, government and military sectors to talented women.

She will be missed by her family and country.
