RE: IS THERE ANYTHING THAT YOU WISHED YOU COULD DO ...BUT JUST CAN'T DO ?

I wish I could fly. Sounds silly but to me that would be a hoot...

RE: What do you believe happens after death?

I would hope my spirit would live on but alas, the only thing I know for sure is that we are all going to eventually find out

RE: Yes...but do you Need me...

Actually, if I understand your question correctly, I am just the opposite.

I want a person who doesn't need me at all. I have been in those relationships and they always gave me a feeling that the woman was around because of need rather than desire. To me, when they don't need me and they are still around, it tells me they want to be with me vice having to be with me out of some kind of need. It also encourages me to work more consistantly on ensureing that desire remains.

Take care

RE: Are you for or against the death penalty?

Thanks for that Conradbeer

RE: Are you for or against the death penalty?

Yeah, not a big fan of killing people but then again I think the death penalty is much more fair and humane to the persons it's carried out on than the means in which they dispatched their victims.

RE: What is the biggest turn off in bed?

True enough but it usually starts when I take my clothes off. laugh laugh

RE: What is the biggest turn off in bed?

Yep, that would mad eMr. Happy lose interest...laugh

RE: whats wrong with letting us have a beer at xmas??????.....

It all goes back to General Order #1 from the 1st gulf war. Yes, it pretty much sucks but we are soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines and our job is to salute smartly and press on. It's not fair that the higher ups break the rules but acting as they do only makes us like them. Get safely through your tour and have a cold one when you get back. The beer will still be there.

RE: What is the biggest turn off in bed?

Laughing, for some reason they always laugh... hmmmmm laugh laugh

RE: something I would like to share.

Yep, loads of scams our here in cyber space. Can't hurt to tell a friend regardless if it's linked to terrorism or not.

RE: Are there any Christians on the CS site????

Me too but not really into organized religeon. Don't care for Bible thumpers and the hoiler than thou crowd. Live and let live and do no harm is my motto.

Nice to see there are quite a few out here

RE: Your favorite book?

A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving.

RE: Your thoughts on

No good advice from me but I do congratulate you and wish the two you all the best in the future.

Just have fun and mix the music updancing

RE: They need a new god.

I agree with what you said about Islamic fanatics. Gaining strength all over the world but I don't believe the west removing their presence from Islamic countries would change much at this point.

And why should the west remove themselves? The west has had a presence in most of those countries for years through diplomatic agreements and treaties just as those governments have presence in western countries. Hiding our heads in the sand wont make this go away.

RE: hostages at Clinton's headquarters!!

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing I was wondering when this was going to be said.. You are quick... rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Breaking News

That was good... rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing I think even Mitch would laugh at that.

Hope everyone gets out of there OK. I can't stand Clinton either but this isn't the way to handle differences

RE: A threat to the nation's security

Right, what you said too.. laugh

RE: A threat to the nation's security

I don't believe he's ever worked and has never made an attempt to work. He's living off of the generosity of the people of Norway and at the same time threatening them.

You're right though, if he were even attempting to do his part he should not be treated any differently

Twas The Night Before Christmas (Almost)

I thought this was interesting. Enjoy.... or not..

Twas the month before Christmas
When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.
See the PC Police had taken away,
The reason for Christmas, no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing,
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a "Holiday".
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X-BOX, an I-pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kawanza
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word "Christmas" was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and JCPenny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate "Winter Break" under your "Dream Tree"
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me...
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout "MERRY CHRISTMAS!",
not "Happy Holiday."

RE: A threat to the nation's security

I think you're right. He needs to carry his own weight.

It would seem if he's going back and forth, he's not in much danger. Besides, he can always use those Islamic supporters to protect himself if he's deported rather than use those same supporters to threaten harm to the country that tried to help him.

Norway's not my country but I would deport him for breaking the terms of his agreement and not be held hostage to his threats.

RE: A threat to the nation's security

So... what do you think the government should do?

RE: @@ RUMOR CONTROLE AND THE ANTICS OF BUSHCO @@

Oooops, slight error. The speech was made in 2003 and the stories have been tisting ever since.

RE: @@ RUMOR CONTROLE AND THE ANTICS OF BUSHCO @@

I would not be too quick to believe everything you hear. This whole rumor is generated from the flat out fabrication of things stated in a Pres. Bush speech this past October. The speech was made to the Philippine Congress and shortly after it was made some of our more creative journalists twisted and turned it to reflect Bush was "actually" saying he had colonized Iraq. I'm happy to provide the text of that speech (provided by the very people who spun their story from it) if anyone wants it and provide copies of the creative reporting that goes along with it.

I think sometimes that we allow our hate, dislike or own personal agendas/politics to affect our ability to be rational or at least check information.

RE: Bushisms Redux

To be fair. President Bush is not a good extemporaneous speaker. His advisors should be telling him to stick to a manuscript and he should do it. Public speaking is an art in which Pres Bush has a lot less talent than some of the past Presidents have had.

This does not equate to the man being dumber than a monkey as some may jest.

RE: Isn't 40 too many? Seems like just a little overkill?

I would love to dispute that but I fear I would lose. I think it's the same in a lot of places.

RE: Isn't 40 too many? Seems like just a little overkill?

I would have thought there would have been a lot more public outcry too.

Then again, we don't want to say something that might offend someone, some group, etc...

RE: Bushisms Redux

People were saying similar things about Clinton after he won his second term. I'd be willing to bet they will be saying it when the next one gets a second term. The only thing that changes are the names and the parties.

My Teddy Bear (Not named Teddy)

Learn something new everyday. I had to google golliwog to see what the heck it was.

My Teddy Bear (Not named Teddy)

I got the same thing. Sounded like a neat way to teach them the election process (Nominate names and then have a vote)

Also provided a good way for them to prictice writing about their adventures with the bear/mascot.

Amazing how something so innocent could create such problems.

I hope they see through all this before it goes any further and another person is punished in the name of religeon.
