One of the rare times when I have a serious post..
Sometimes, good things happen when we least expect it. After 6 years, my 27 year old son and I have been able to repair our relationship. If you have children regardless of thier age you know how important they are and what a pain in the butt they can be at times. Then again, we (parents) are quite possibly a pain too.
It really is amazing how we can be so blind to the things/people that are most important to us. We're also quite adept at ignoring that nagging voice in the back of our heads or allowing pride to get in the way of reason. It's even more amazing to get that surge once things are made right again.
Anyway, this could not have come at a better time as I am soon departing the country again and I really wanted things straight before I left. I could not have asked for a better Christmas present.
May each of you enjoy a Merry Christmas equal to or greater than the one I just enjoyed.
We should really be more concerned about what Santa is doing for Christmas. Rumor has it, he only c*m (Sp) once a year and it's usually down a chimney. That can't be fun...
Just got back from the Alabama state football championships (High School AAAAAA) Prattville won a close one tonight in against Hoover. Great game... Go Lions!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to agree 100%. All those folks can feel some of the pain. Doesn't need to be just the blue collar guys or the CEOs. We should include all levels.
Then perhaps they can adjust to the times as well and make some quality, fuel efficient cars.
RE: how much money you need to be happy?
Nope, money doesn't buy happiness but if one has little or no morals, it can rent happiness for an hour or so...
