If you really think about it, it would seem somewhat hypocriticle to allow such training of mercernaries to happen within the borders of the United States when we recently took out the Taliban for much the same thing.
Sometimes I wonder if we're blnd, stupid or perhaps both. The last thing we need is to add this sort of thng to the goods and services we promote/sell at home and abroad.
From personal experiance I can tell you that these agencies/companies are dangerous and they're damn near as well equipped as our military services. What's going to happen when Uncle Sam steps in a quashes one of their contracts? it'll e interesting to see from afar.
I think you're heading in the right direction. It's almost got to be one of the big three i.e. Black Water, DynCorp or Armour Group. If you ever get through all the front companies and sub contracts it'll be a miracle. I've just completed some work with contracts here and from what I have seen, there are countless names/sub contracts for each of the big three mentioned earlier. Herding cats would be easier than wading through this mess.
Keep in mind that these companies all have egg on their face from some of the shenanigans they have been up to in the past. It only makes sense for them to hide their real identities from the public. The people would crap themselves if they actually heard one of the big three was performing security/police duties in their towns.
this sounds a lot like the police force/security company in the movie Robo Cop.
Actually, I think he's fairly credible but then again he's not talking about a governemnt conspiracy of bringing down the towers. he's talking about a government cover up of the inept response to 9/11 & Katrina.
"The nation’s top-down command structure was abysmally ill-prepared to respond to the surprise attacks of September 11, 2001 and, as the bungled response to the much-anticipated Hurricane Katrina underscored, remains a bureaucratic hindrance to the “on the ground” way in which crises are actually experienced and most effectively addressed. Equally important, misleading accounts by the administration and the military of key aspects of the air and ground response on 9/11 have set the country up to fail in response to future threats.
That’s the conclusion presented by John J. Farmer, Jr., former Senior Counsel and Team Leader to the 9/11 Commission and now Dean of Rutgers School of Law–Newark, in The Ground Truth: The Untold Story of America Under Attack on 9/11, published today by Riverhead Books. Douglas Brinkley, author of The Great Deluge, says that “all Americans should read” the book, which he describes as “a highly recommended historical curative for our times.” Brinkley praises the “keen analytical insight” with which Farmer “rips the lid off of many mysteries pertaining to both the 9/11 attacks and Hurricane Katrina.” Kirkus Review concludes that the book “makes excellent use of declassified primary-source documents from 9/11” and describes it as “an important systematic brief on how an elaborately constructed national-defense system was penetrated . . . .”
The above quote comes from a review of his book. I haven't read it and don't plan to but it would seem Farmer has made an honest critique of the government's response to 9/11 and their apparant cover up of their lousy response to the attacks. Yet someone has taken this critique and quoted a certain portion "And now, having read through lots of further evidence, he’s come to the conclusion that the official version of the story is almost entirely untrue, based on false testimony by the White House, CIA, FBI and NORAD." to make it seem like he's embracing the whole idea that the Bush Administration orchestrated 9/11. Big difference there and that's why these people who tout these conspiracy theories are not credible. They just can't seem to quote the truth, they only quote that which makes their story seem true.
I didn't realize people were still mooning one another on purpose. I just thought this was going to be about those young whipper snappers wearing their baggy jeans around the bottom of their asses with their colorful boxer sticking out the top.
I agree and I think that's true from both political sides. It's getting more and more difficult to wade through the BS to find out what's really happening.
Never heard of it until now. I googled it and the information on it is rather vague. What I do gather is that it isn't good and I admire your spunk in the manner in which you manage it.
Actually, I'm not a Muslim and I don't live in Afghanistan. I work here for an Aid organization and I'm Christian. Not a Bible Thumping; hell, fire & brimstone type, just a simple person trying to get through life as best I can, secure in my beliefs and trying to allow others to do the same.
Having said that, I don't buy in to the numerous conspiracy theories concerning 9/11 or the New World Order but I can see and understand why some may do so. Since I don't believe in those things I guess that makes me one of those people who are asleep. this is why I responded the way I did. I simply don't see the need to belittle others for their beliefs even if it's tongue and cheek.
Perhaps I was a bit too pointed in my earlier post but I don't think you would like me insulting your belief system. To do so only deminishes my own position and more than likely will invoke a negative response.
Why is it you feel you must insult others that don't believe what you believe? Are you such a lost soul that you have to boost your own ego at the expense of others? I'll assure you I'm quite awake and while I disagree with your philosophy I'll spare you the insults by not saying you're asleep.
However, I will say that people who operate as you do must lead pretty pathetic lives.
Sad story. Not much information about it though and leads me to wonder whether this could have been an accident after a late Saturday night frat party or worse, someone actually killing him. Tragic regardless.
Yes he did want to be president but then again they all do and I'd wager a bet that most of them have done something of this nature at some point in their lives. We were born with 2 heads and only enough blood to operate one at a time.
Congratulations on the birth of your 19 month old daughter. All the denials and lies have just blown up and come back to haunt him. I think he's done now and I'm very sorry for the hell his wife is going through.
Somehow I thought you'd say that.. Well, it's my gym time and I gotta get er done. We'll see you in a couple hours if you're still around. If not, have a great night..
