RE: Would you date someone who is completely not your type?

At at a point where the only standard I have is that there's a pulse. After verification of that it's game on...laugh So yes, I would date someone who is not my type with the exception of druggies or drunks.

RE: What do you think of Malta?

Hey, Life is good. I've been bouncing around the states for the past 6 weeks. At the moment I am in a hotel in DC going through some last minute training and I'm leaving for Kabul this Saturday. Should be settled in by the 5th (I hope). How are things in Malta? It's about time for the tourists rush isn't it?

Well, you take care of yourself and enjoy the mellow life of Gozo..

cheers

RE: Things that men have, which women don’t

That was A musing laugh

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2009 when...

1. You accidentally enter your pin on the microwave.

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses...

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10... You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your
coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

12 You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list.

RE: DO MEN Prefer Real or Fake,??????

I'm just not as nice as you. I would have said "Real or fake as long as they are on a women I love and there's a pulse. Both ways are fine with me." laugh

RE: Sustainable Communities

Communes are nice in theory but you're dealing with people and we are not the most reasonable creatures. Most of the communes I've ever seen or heard of were religeous based and most ended with disaster i.e. Branch Dividian, Jones Town, etc...

We already live in a pyramid of communities, towns, cities, counties, states and country. I see no value in adding yet another link in the chain. But you asked for advice, I would advise staying out of it...

RE: What do you think of Obama's job as President right now?

You're probably one of the few that feels bad about such things. There are many who would buy it again and sell it to another person incapable of paying for it. laugh

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

Like I said earlier, There will never be any easy answers to these questions. But... Lot's of interesting argument/debate

RE: SIENCE V'S the Bible, please read befour voting

I don't know about that. If we were all reincarnated why would the population levels keep going up.. laugh There will never be any easy answers to these questions.

RE: End of Bush recession appears on the horizon

Whew, for a minute I thought you were Dud elaugh

RE: Anyone every tell you they weren't using drugs but you had solid proof they were?

Yes and she lied about it. I dropped her like a bad habit. I don't do drugs and don't knowlingly associate with those that use them but the worst part in this case was the lie. I have no use and zero tollerance for a mate I can't trust.

RE: What do you think of Obama's job as President right now?

Yes, but isn't everyone entitled... laugh

Sorry, I've been in the process of selling my house and I've had several bites thus far from people unqualified to buy. Yet their realtors, lawyers and financial institutions are trying to keep me on the hook as they seek creative ways to put them in my house. I just don't understand why people feel the need to spend beyond their means and why the hell our finincial institutions, politicians and every other bleeding heart is assisting them in reaching failure. Oh, it must be the money they're making from these poor folks. They don't care about the poor folks, all they care about is their friggen commission. very mad

RE: Legal Advise

There could be so many funny yet inappropriate comments made to your post. I'll refrain and will be happy to help if I can.

RE: Obama is clueless

I've been saving all my coins in a jar since I have been back in the US. it's been about 5 months. Since I am leaving this week again I took the to the bank and turned them into cash. Just over $100.00. Now that's change I can beieve in... laugh

RE: why are so many opposed to health care???

I agreecheers

RE: why are so many opposed to health care???

That would be nice to see. All those law suits don't help medical costs

RE: why are so many opposed to health care???

I'll wait for Dud... laugh

RE: why are so many opposed to health care???

I can't say, it's a secret that I don't even know about.. laugh

RE: why are so many opposed to health care???

Naw... It's pretty civil in here right now. I do believe it would have gotten me removed from the democratic party though. Me and Liberman, we could be partners. laugh

RE: why are so many opposed to health care???

Ship, I think 5 million is a rather low estimate and the number of people in the US (not counting the ones who recently lost their employment) without healthcare insurance is a lot higher. I think in my earlier post I mentioned there were those who were without insurance by no fault of their own, so I guess my answer would be no, that is not what I would like to see.

However, what i don't want to see are the persons working, living in an oversized, expensive house, driving a brand new car and have failed to purchase a basic need (medical insurance), getting me and other tax payers to buy them something they could have afforded themselves had they used a little common sense and quit trying to keep up with the Jones'

RE: How to show her she's special

ooby would you please stop. You're gonna ruin it for the rest of us... laugh

RE: Would you give Ted Kennedy a Knighthood?

That would be a great show.. cheers

RE: Would you give Ted Kennedy a Knighthood?

Don't laugh too soon, I have seen countless decoration requests cross my desk for less then adequate or average performance. People have come to think of them as an automatic thing rather than something earned. Perhaps GB is doing the same with their awards. It's a shame, there are many people walking around with the same honors for totally different reasons

RE: Would you give Ted Kennedy a Knighthood?

You're an evil man... laugh

RE: Would you give Ted Kennedy a Knighthood?

I don't know Robbie. I don't really care for Kennedy so I know I am biased against him. Even so, I can't see where anything he's done warrants a knighthood. When things like this are given away too casually it lessens their prestige

Why nobody had ADHD when we were growing up

Excellent points...

Why nobody had ADHD when we were growing up

A friend sent me this video. Enjoy...

RE: dec 21, 2012 the end of the world,do people belive that or is it just another false prediction?

Trust me, if we have a piece of rock the size of say a mountain (a cosmic pebble) then life on this planet will be exterminated by a fireball in the upper atmosphere.

The blaast wave will circle the globe, making sea levels rush inland at speeds smashing everything.

Assuming we dont all die immediately from the blast wave, survive the floodwaters we shall have to live through a five year nuclear winter.

Given sunlight will be blocked out, the food chain will collapse within a month and people that survive will starve to death.

All life as toy know it that is land based will die within a month.

And that is assuming the atmosphere doesn't combust, if that happens...well, this is then a dead planet.

And guess what, this is a statistical 100 per cent certainty!

The only future for mankind is migration to the stars.

I hope that cheered you up.[/quote]

Yes, now I feel all tingly inside. Thanks... laugh

RE: help wanted

I'll save you the e-mail. Mine is Barbiesmallpeniscathedral at yahoo.com laugh
