I guess I'll not be getting married again anytime soon if it's true that "When you get married you immediately give your wife all the power over your money (something tangible)." and your children.
That kind of empowerment would require "trust" and since Love (something intangible) is not a reason for getting married anymore, Trust can't exist... imo
Just a curiosity, if, say the likes of Emile Hirsch (into the wild), Kellan Lutz (twilight), Zac Efron (Again), or Shia Lbeouf (Transformers) would still be considered to have attractive personalities if they were bald.

Grieving, and how long one grieves, varies for everyone. Professional group and individual related support stuff exists where I live. Maybe you could hint/recommend something like this to your friend if they're having difficulty with their loss.
