According to Amanda Holden: Holden said she hopes the documentary will lead to a change in how parents who suffer from miscarriages are treated: "I was well looked after and cannot thank them enough for the care, compassion and help they gave me during such a traumatic time, but the parents I met while making this documentary told me that the fantastic care I received was not experienced by them. I was shocked at some off the discoveries I made. The problem seemed to be they were not treated with the compassion and dignity that you need most at such a traumatic time.
"There needs to be a clear, national policy. Guidelines should be clearer and properly enforced. The potential for compounding the grief suffered by all the mothers was easily preventable. What happened to me was horrendous but I have moved forward and have managed to draw a line under the subject."
The British government has now imposed an immediate ban on the incineration of miscarried and aborted babies
“This practice is totally unacceptable,” U.K. Health Minister Dan Poulter (who worked in hospital obstetrics and gynecology before he became a politician.) said in a statement, according to The Telegraph. “While the vast majority of hospitals are acting in the appropriate way, that must be the case for all hospitals and the Human Tissue Authority (regulatory body) has now been asked to ensure that it acts on this issue without delay.”
“I have asked Professor Sir Bruce Keogh … to write to all NHS hospital trusts, to make it clear that it must stop now,” Poulter said. “The chief medical officer has also written to the Human Tissue Authority to ask them to make sure that there is clear guidance on this issue.”
The reporting of this practice is exposing to the world a tragedy and abhorrent behavior, by a country that is supposed to be developed. What a shame. It appears to many that it seems civilization has taken a back seat in the U.K.; wallowing in degradation. I hope the USA is not headed down the same sick road. I look forward to the USA’s non- Affordable Care Act being repealed, sooner than later.
One of the biggest tragedies in this story, IMO, is the parents of the miscarriages or abortions are lied to. Whether it's their own body, a relative, child etc, people feel different about how bodies are treated after death. I think their wishes should be respected.
Well…… the processes and goals are different, and:
The goal of the combustion process in a hospital waste incinerator is complete combustion of the organic constituents in the waste feed. Each organon substance has a characteristic minimum ignition temperature that must be attained or exceeded, in the presence of oxygen, for combustion to occur. Above the ignition temperature, heat is generated at a higher rate than it is lost to the surroundings, aha , and the elevated temperatures necessary for sustained combustion are maintained. source:
whereas, cremation is not as complete and does not include waste. The body does not reduce into ‘ashes’ right after incineration. Rather, it reduces into small bone fragments that are later pulverized to get a uniform powdery consistency of the cremated remains. The soft organs and tissues tend to evaporate due to the extreme heat. source:
Hospitals in the U.K. reported to heat hospitals by burning fetuses!
How did it come to this? Aborted and miscarried fetuses are incinerated and used to heat some hospitals in the U.K., as part of a waste to energy program. What constitutes waste? People do this and yet, think fossil fuels are evil.
Some of the involved potential parents have stated they’ve had no choice in the final disposition of their fetus.
This is what happens when a government takes control of a health care system. The greater good of the whole is more important than the needs of the individual nonsense.
I believe this government action in the U.K. is nothing less than an outrageous, disgusting, disturbing and heinous crime against humanity. This should be stopped now!

What’s next in the U.K. ………. Soylent Green (processed food) Is People!!!
I wouldn't doubt that his legacy is probably going to be the opposite of what he intended. Most likely, people, unfortunate to catch his insane act, have been so turned off to his message that if they were on the fence before, they now want no part of anything remotely close to his beliefs.
Yep, what a great social experiment our constitutional republic has been. We've seen a lot of good, and bad. Hopefully we can put some birth defects behinds us and stay on the right path to better days.
Cell phones don’t work well above 2,000 feet..... above ground. I don't know of any cellular company who has cell towers in large bodies of water. Wouldn't seem practical to put them there.
Cell phones need to be in a direct line of sight of a tower to communicate either voice or data. And planes moving between towers makes it hard for phones to know which tower to sync to.
It would be tough to track a passenger unless the person had a satellite phone.
Me either, now that they've brought the FBI into this. Now, I'm not criticising the FBI, but the NTSB is the U.S. agency which should be involved, if they aren't already. They have the right skill-set for this aviation case.
"The NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) is an independent Federal agency charged by Congress with investigating every civil aviation accident in the U.S. and significant accidents in other modes of transportation-railroad, highway, marine and pipeline. "
