My first name is my Grandmother's maiden name, to honor her father who had all girls, it's also my father's first name. My middle name is after a man who was married to my Grandmother's sister, he was killed in an accident with a tractor.
I still think that romance should be a two way street, and I was wondering what some women do to be romantic. Since I have seen very little in my personal experience.
My first wife and I, we played together. Wrestling, tickling, pillow fights, we played with the dog. She would do these cute little practical jokes on me, and we'd laugh and laugh. I loved that!
These are all romantic gestures that no woman has ever done for me. No grand gesture is required for romance, just little ones to keep the grand feeling going.
It is the gentleness I feel, When you look at me. It is how life just seems more real, When you're near to me. Even my heart is smiling. Every breath beguiling. It is awe inspiring. It is love.
I've been thinking lately about romance. We all know that many women value romance. Men are generally expected to be romantic if they want to be appreciated. Yet, in my own personal experience very few women actually seem to be romantic. So now my curiosity is aroused.

I do not fear wild beasts, nor creepy crawling things. At heights, I jump off smiling. In the face of death I wink. But when I look into your eyes, I fear how much I love you.
My step kids started calling me Dad on their own. Neither thier Mother nor I ever pressured them to call me Dad. When they did I was very proud. Their Mother won't allow them to talk to me anymore, but when she's not looking they'll still sneak over and hug me. I love that!
