Stacy---please DO NOT get a root canal if it is a front tooth. A root canal will kill the tooth over time (turning the tooth brown) and eventually the tooth will break. You need to get a cap put on the tooth, or a crown. They run about $800. I was mugged when I was younger, and had to have a root canal on my front tooth. That was 20 years ago and it is now starting to turn brown. My dentist says there is nothing you can do about it--no "whiteners" will work because the tooth is dead.
As far as divulging imperfections, I believe honesty is the way to go. Personally, if a woman misrepresented herself, I wouldn't have a problem as long as she gave me an explaination why she didn't tell me. I would understand if she said "I was too embarassed" or I am ashamed of my imperfection". But if it is a she-male, I would walk out!!!!
And Sheila does have a butt of an 18 year old. I am out of breath.....
I agree Irishlass..alot of it has to do with your upbringing. I am not saying children who weren't loved as children cannot be loving adults. Also, you are so sweet and kind to do what you did for that young family!!!
Hmmm..dating and shopping at Walmart. That is a great idea! I guess I have to give up taking dates to McDonalds now and try this! (just kidding kt1985).
I walk on the beach in North Myrtle Beach, SC.... that helps alot!! It is so beautiful and at night, not too many people around during the winter. It takes me an hour and a half to walk 6 miles, so I go at a pretty good clip. Working out 2 hours a day is terrific! You should be proud of that.
I find exercise always help. I never smoked, but I have recently lost 120 lbs. (started 1 year ago today). I walk 12 miles a day now and it really has helped me psychologically, as well as physically. So if you get out and walk, or do something active, that might help alot. Good luck and hang in there--3 days is a good start!
Just hang in there..grieve a little and move on. I know that sounds simplistic, but it is true. I practice what I preach..my heart was broken Thanksgiving, I was sad and now I have moved on meeting someone else.
