RE: in Dohas

She is in her early 20's. Her kids are all less than 6 months old and born 2 months apart! laugh

RE: What do you dislike most.....

Only two things:

Waaaaay too many people.

I kinda' wish it was closer to where I used to live so as to make it easier to keep in touch with family and close friends.

Should threads with a gajillion pictures have a warning...

Yep, it'd be nice to have another option. But we don't even have cable T.V.!

Looking forward to seeing your garden pics - Providing you don't post more than about 3 or 4 at a time! laugh

RE: THE MEANING OF LIFE ! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ? AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING ON PLANET EARTH

Sorry Gilly, but YOU started it! tongue

So, ok... I'm banned! I will never again participate in, contribute to or read another one of your threads. wine

(And as to my week... I guess you'll just have to wonder about it - I've been banned from this thread.)

Bye Bye! wave

Should threads with a gajillion pictures have a warning...

Pretty good! In another week or two, I'll post some more "after" pics, now that things are really starting to grow. (Provided, of course, that I can spare the time to get them to go through with dial-up! laugh )

Should threads with a gajillion pictures have a warning...

...so that folks who have "dial-up" connections can decide for themselves on whether to chance freezing up their computers?

RE: THE MEANING OF LIFE ! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ? AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING ON PLANET EARTH

1st, I don't really think much about who or what I am because it doesn't really matter as long as I'm comfortable with it - which I am.

2nd, As to what I'm doing on planet earth... Well, right now I'm responding to yet another assinine "gillythread" and trying to decide if I should go back to bed and then work on more on replacing the bedroom floor later on or just get dressed and go fishing.

Kick me off the planet? After the week I've just come through I'd welcome it if you really think you have the authority (and ability) to do it! But let me ask you something first: Shouldn't the quality (and quantity) of your threads be held at least as accountable as the quality of our answers?
dunno

RE: Say Something... No need for names, Be Nice. Part Deux!

Thank GOD this week is FINALLY over!!! yay

RE: Extrovert / Introvert...... Which are you???

Yes!

RE: Pics of others?

Not trying to start anything here, but what's the difference in posting a pic with somebody and posting a cropped pic where there obviously used to be somebody? I mean, I understand that the thought could be "Well, they're not there now." But if I were looking - which, praise God, I'm not - I couldn't help but wonder "Hmmm... How long will it be before I'm the one that gets cut out?"

confused

RE: random thought

Thanks Dorielle! Beautiful (as always!) and truthful.

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Actually, I am a fear monger when it comes to farts! rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Gas is a Notion..Useful or Not?

And I was just thinking that gas could be a notion. (I just wish fewer folks would take the notion to pass it when they're around me!) laugh

RE: Rhyme Time

It may very well seem that I'm always funny
And that I make jokes like a bee makes honey.
But ask a bee and I'm sure he'd smirk,
"Making all that honey is a lot of work!"

My humor seems effortless, but like the bee
There's a lot of work that folks don't see.
But it's work I love and I'll tell you why:
I'd rather make folks laugh than make them cry!

RE: At Last I met him.................!!

Congrats! I found mine here, too!

RE: Sunbathing?

If you spend enough time outdoors, eventually everything will 'even up.' grin

Back when I was working construction, people were amazed that a redhead like me could get a deep, even tan. I used to tell 'em that when you spend 16 hours a day in the sun, six days a week that it's kinda' hard not to tan. thumbs up

RE: Sunbathing?

Don't know that I've ever really done it (sunbathed). I spend enough time outdoors doing other things that I've never really needed to lie around in the sun just for the sake of soaking it up.

Maybe if you stayed up all night and then just took a really long nap in the sun?

RE: Rhyme Time

To speak in rhyme - What's the use?
to make us all a Dr. Seuss?

I agree, tis neat! But 'twould be neater,
to speak in ryhme with better metre.

laugh

RE: what's the temperature

Hey Pat! I'll trade you - A week in Phoenix for a week in East Tennessee. (I can always run up to the Salt River Canyon or Showlow!)

We went out earlier and unloaded 6 sheets of Advantech sub-flooring and when I came in my shirt was soaked like somebody'd sprayed me with the hose!
sigh

RE: what's the temperature

Saturday, 6:03 P.M. in Claxton, Tn. 93F. and about 60% humidity.

(Feels like a freakin' sauna down here!)

RE: Say Something to Someone - I don't care if you're nice.- PART 2

Hi Dana! It's okay, I get that alot. And I do remember Roger Ramjet - I just don't have enough room in my head for his theme song right now, what with Mighty Mouse and Underdog in there battling evil. laugh

RE: A little girl's work ethic

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Thank you, Bob! I needed that!

RE: Say Something to Someone - I don't care if you're nice.- PART 2

Mine too!

I also was a big fan of UNDERDOG.

UH, oh. Time for a trip down memory lane:

When criminals in this world appear
And break the laws of those who fear
And frighten all who see or hear,
A call goes up both far and near
For UNDERDOG! UNDERDOG!
Speed of lightning, roar of thunder,
Fighting all who rob or plunder -
UNDERDOG!!!!

yay yay yay

RE: Say Something to Someone - I don't care if you're nice.- PART 2

To the theme of Mighty Mouse! (Here I come to save the DAAAAAAAY!)

laugh

RE: Say Something to Someone - I don't care if you're nice.- PART 2

Everybody brings a smile to this place. Some when they enter, others when they leave.

RE: Be honest now, is race, religion, or politics an issue for you, when it comes to dating?

Be honest now, is race, religion, or politics an issue for you, when it comes to dating?

1st, we're both too damned old to do much racing. (Answer: Nope!)
2nd, we love each other religiously. (Answer:Nope!)
3rd, neither of us is running for office. (Answer: Nope!)
4th, the only time dating comes into play for us is if it has "carbon14" in front of it and we're not quite that old! (Answer: Huh?)

grin

RE: post a limerick

A decrepit old gas man named Peter,
One day, whilst working 'round his gas heater
Touched a leak with his light
In a flash he rose out of sight
And - as anyone who knows anything at all about poetry can tell you - He also ruined the metre!

RE: Does anyone

The heart is a funny thing: When it's empty, there's no room for even the tiniest grain of sand. When it's full, it can hold the whole world.

Hang in there, it'll get better!
