Cool! We're up to FOURTEEN!!! -- Twelve on the list, 2 others (1 member and a guest) that aren't on the list, but we know they're coming.
Just thought we'd mention that if anyone wants to bring a guest, it's perfectly alright with us, but please let us know so that we'll be able to plan the menu accordingly (eats & drinks, nothing fancy! ).
Hope everyone is doing great! Really looking forward to seeing everyone in about 3 1/2 weeks!!!
A guy is sitting at home, watching a football game when he hears a knock at the door. He goes to the door and opens it, but there's nobody there. However there is a large snail sitting on the porch. The man picks up the snail and hurls it as far as he can into the neighboring field.
Six months later, the same guy is sitting at home watching a baseball game when he hears another knock at the door. He goes to the door and opens and sees a large snail sitting on the porch. The snail says, "What the hell was that for?!!"
Well we've already been talking about doing it again next year if it works good this year. Surely a year is enough advance notice to get a few extra days off?
That might work! The road is so curvy that most drunks wouldn't have any problem driving it. (Provided they started off by weaving in the right direction!)
Well, I can't speak for everyone, but it sure worked for me and Jackson - We're less than a month away from our 1st anniversary and I've never been happier in my entire life.
*Note: Not all participants will experience the same results.
Oh, and there will also have to be at least one or two very, very special JT songs! (And she will know why!)
Something tells me that you guys are gonna' learn some things (about us) that'll have you believing in God and fate and soulmates and all that mushy gushy stuff!
Yep, I've got some Nitty Gritty, too. I'll have to look for Merle - most of his stuff was on my cassette tapes - But I've got a little Chris Le Doux and some of the best Bluegrass instrumentals ever recorded. Might even be able to find some Ben Colder!
Oh, and just a bit of Don Williams and George Strait for my special gal! (It is our anniversary, after all!)
Hmmm... The last party I went to was a company Christmas party a few years ago, up in Kansas - Somethin' tells me that playin' "Jingle Bell Rock" in the middle of August would attract the guys with the white suits and butterfly nets...
RE: What would your choice be???
Okay, I read the entire OP and really didn't have to think about it at all. It's a no brainer -- The choice would be hers to make. It just doesn't seem like it would be fair any other way!
