I think I am well balanced in this aspect, as either extreme can be annoying; I also like to keep the clutter well in check, and to dispose of things I no longer have use for.
An apologetic type no followed by a lengthy explanation could potentially become a yes if she is honest; the tone of her voice is very telling, so you might want to pay close attention to that, and btw....good luck
I see alot of questions about profiles and what can be done to make them better. So, without giving it too much thought. What are the first things you check on a profile? Does social interaction make a big difference.
Not sure anymore whether or not that actually makes a difference....what people say about themselves and the reality can be soooo dramatically different that you really just have to gather the facts for yourself somehow....
I think she has deep rooted emotional problems or scars; she can handle friendship ...nothing more...and if after two years you are friends still, despite all the other stuff, my advice to you is to understand and respect that and find yourself a girlfriend.
