I concur, am surprised at the amount of people that are of the opinion that men require a partner more than women. I don't see that, but I guess its all from our own experience.
One poster comes in & insults the OP, takes over, insults Islanders & accuses another poster of being gay, brings the thread down, & another poster wants to talk about muslims :doh Completely derails the thread.
Can only speak to my experience where loneliness is not gender specific, when it comes to having a partner. I've been in a relationship & felt extremely lonely, more so than when I've been single. I know plenty of women who want a partner for a whole variety of reasons & the same with men, so in answer to your question, no, I don't think so
It's disgusting & sad what the invaders will do to attack people & their culture with a view to controlling them. Sad to hear that but not the least surprised.
Now there are pockets of regions, few and far between, that Irish is native, known as Gaeltacht regions. Most people don't speak it for a variety of reasons, and I'm ashamed to say I only have a cupla focail (few words).
Doesn't matter to me a persons hair colour, or even having hair, Sinead O Connor
And what about natural grey.
Met a lady recently, she gave up dying her hair when she was 25. Refused to tie herself into dying her hair every 4/6 weeks for the rest of her life & she let it go naturally grey, absolutely stunning.
To answer your question I would be initially attracted to a persons face more than their body. But it's so much more than that, the way they carry themselves, they way they interact with others.
But that's just initial attraction. After that come the more important things.
I guess when your invaded by a foreign speaking power who controlled you for nearly 1,000 years, committed genocide & enforced laws in their language I guess that has to be a factor.
In saying that, not enough Irish people have made and effort to learn our great language.
