Thanks for the video Stringman. An intelligent passionate lady who makes her points very well.
Interesting her take on the Establishment Media and their mission to overthrow Assad, which has led to a lot of propoganda and false reporting.
Also her take on the so called 'Moderate Rebels' who have inflicted torture and suffering on the ordinary people of Syria.
This is the channel 4 video I watched the other day that inspired me to start the thread. It focuses on Aleppo and the Lady in your video would corroborate that Russia and Syria wanted people out, yet the Syrian Rebels stopped that from happening. Still it was largely Syrian and Russian bombs that inflicted the damage.
Understand what your saying Pete and it's a terrible situation for the boy and his family. While I understand what your saying re foreign aid, and its a good argument, & not knowing the circumstances of this case, throwing money at every individual that needs healthcare would quickly lead to bankruptcy, its just not feasible imo. And while an argument could be made that this boy is deserving, I am pretty sure there are plenty of other cases equally deserving. Where does it start and stop ? Am glad the boy got the care he needed.
Hope you're well and Happy Xmas mate.
P.S. On a side note, Getting ones news off the side of a bus and believing it, & voting accordingly, many, many experts agree will lead to less money going into NHS and Healthcare in the future.
Nice point you make Pat, but I don't think anyone has ever said that, not here, nor in any of the threads I have read here. But at least you get to imply someone has, well done you.
I suggest you do some research so, only if you would like to know more. Plenty of sources to choose from and it is a well known fact that rebels in Syria were backed by US thru the CIA.
It is only worse Because other countries Intervened.
Nothing to say about the atrocities committed to the people of Aleppo & others in Syria, by US backed, financed, and supported rebels in Syria there Pat ?
If countries, under the guise of their Gov's are going to interfere and cause this amount of harm and suffering, those countries will create enemies.
True, and its true the world over. I wouldn't want to live in a society where their culture allows open gun carries in public , nor would I want to live in a society where women are treated disgustingly.
I like that different countries have different cultures, and I think we can learn a lot from each other. But when a persons civil and human rights are infringed then I think that is ok to be critical, in fact I think its an obligation.
I remember reading a book called 'The Red Tent' I think, whose title refers to this custom.
Not so long ago Women in the West were 2nd class citizens and it was largely through education (common sense really) that this practice ended, and offered equality to all. (At least in practice )
You say above that is in the interest of the US to provoke to get out of their debt to China, which is roughly 10 % of their national debt.
And the post I responded to you state this.
Do you think it is in both their interests to provoke and go to war ? I don't think so. It's certainly not in the interest of the people of the US and China.
It's a drone, they are returning it.
I think the Precedent Elect is bumbling this situation and needs calmer heads to reign him in, otherwise there could be catastrophic consequences.
Lol Conrad. Nothing to say about the Precedent elect continually insulting them and contravening US protocol by talking direct to Taiwanese Precedent I see, which probably elicited this reaction.
RE: SAY ANYTHING III
They are out their plotting and our security services have their work cut out trying to deny them.Hard to fight an enemy that one cannot see.
