A very sad day today. After several years of medical training and hard work, a very good friend of mine has been struck off after just one minor indiscretion - he slept with one of his patients and can now no longer work in the profession. What a waste of all those years training, endless hours studying, numerous exams and loads of money.


A genuinely nice guy and an excellent Vet you know.

Movie Review - Sister Act 2.

Wow, just wow.
Probably the best sequel ever.

Whoopi Goldberg goes back to her old school in an underpriviliged area of San Francisco to help keep the school open.

She forms a choir and they go on to win the State Championship which means the school stays open (I know, you couldn't make it up).

Lauren Hill from the Fugee's stars and while her career has been stellar, she will always have the State Championship as her finest hour.

Fantastic feel good story that tugs at ones heartsrings and I have known grown men cry watching it.
Not me though, obviously

Alcohol is fine, and I enjoy a few pints myself.
It can and is abused though and that can lead to a whole world of pain for the person involved and in some cases their loved one's & others.

Google Professor Nutt, a guy asked to set up a Drugs task Force in the UK by Tony Blair.

After extensive research their findings were presented to Government and it was disbanded because their claims did not agree with the party line. Some 90 % (cant remember exact figure) of the Drug problems in the UK, the Committee found were caused by...........wait for it..................Alcohol.

Am glad it was written and came across as intended so

I'm from Dublin living in West Cork and it took a bit of getting used to Rizla.
They speak in a sing song type of way, that kind of grows on you (Sssshhh, don't tell Molly)

I like the Scottish and N Ireland accent, very similar, but my favourite has to be Newcastle.
