Some people do. I had to bring a guy in and talk to him about his personal hygiene. His feet smelt disgusting and he had a serious BO problem. I have also had to talk to a lot of people about what was acceptable to wear and what wasn't. I think it's easier in the private sector to set standards whereas the public sector tend to be union dominated, hence my thought that there had to be some guidelines for teachers
But this is slightly different in that she is in charge of 8/9 year olds and her employer is the state/gov. I would have thought there would be some sort of dress code for teachers in their contract
I guess some are naturally negative and then maybe others are afraid and maybe look for excuses not to engage. I think some may just want to vent and may use this forum to be all smiley on the real world
In saying that I know a lot of people who have hooked up and even married from the site. It does annoy me at times to see people complaining as there are so many on the site who are genuine about meeting someone bit mostly I just ignore.
When I joined here first, I was just recovering from an extremely bad illness. The camraderie, the compassion and the humour helped me, a lot. I have taken long breaks and come back, maybe looking for what was here.
The point I'm trying to make is I don't think everyone is here for romance. Some use it because they are lonely or ill in some way, either physically or mentally.
I think some want to concentrate on the negative and that's fine, we are all different. But I am of no doubt, having met lots of people here from various meets I have attended down the years, there are some fantastic people on here.
I remember MB, Ken was it Really nice guy on the forums and always respectful and funny. He used to hide his profile every so often when he wasn't well and made no secret of the fact that he had issues, if I remember correctly. Lovely guy though and sorry it didn't work out for you.
