So Lyndsay, you suggest Obama has killed more people as President than previous US Presidents and when asked for some proof, you offer school shootings !! (In your other Trump thread that has now been locked) Am not sure you know your US history and as usual its a spurious claim to denegrate Obama.
In early September 2013, President Obama told U.S. Senators that the CIA had trained the first 50-man insurgent element and that they had been inserted into Syria. The deployment of this unit and the supplying of weapons may be the first tangible measure of support since the U.S. stated they would begin providing assistance to the opposition. However, the CIA had been facilitating the flow of arms from Libya to Syria "for more than a year" beforehand in collaboration with "the UK, Saudi Arabia and Qatar"; "the operation was largely run out of a covert CIA annex in Benghazi." U.S. military intelligence predicted "the fall of the Assad regime would lead to chaos and, potentially, to Syria's takeover by jihadi extremists, much as was then happening in Libya."
While Wikipedia in and of itself is not 100% accurate there are a myriad of links on the page proving same. Also US admittance of interfering in Syria and funding and arming some of the Rebels.
Am not solely blaming CIA/US as there are so many factors relevant to the situation, but this is a part of it. The rebels were funded by Saudi, Qatar and Britain. These Rebels who wish to overthrow Assad are responsible for some of the worst atrocities of the war.
Maybe the men knew what they were doing, giving them a vote, when they knew big business votes were far more important and it would take time for women to become equals in that field. You may be onto something
Read recently there are 48 million people on food stamps in the US, and we can be sure people are far worse off in Russia for the people. Power and greed is the cause of so much misery.
Not so sure about Gulf 1 but Bush 2's decision to invade Iraq is one of the reasons for the current conflict in Syria. He was advised by intelligent people it would be a 2 generation war and it looks like they could be right. Not sure whats going on covertly but I would guess the ME is infiltrated by the Superpowers looking to exert influence to their own end for sure.
I'd say Putin is sitting back rubbing his hands together with glee at what is happening in the world right now, let alone Syria. His influence is spreading, the puppetmaster, and I completely agree, frightening stuff.
Think Assad will do whatever Putin wants from now on to be honest. I would have thought Western powers would have known this before they started funding and arming rebels. Putin's scorched earth policy just brings more carnage. The only end result I see to this is Assad regaining control, with Russia have a lot more influence, unfortunately.
Have a lack of interest in engaging with you Lyndsay as I have responded in your Epstein thread. So if you would please refrain from this now I would greatly appreciate it to keep the thread on track. Thanks

There's a lot of villages missing their idiots this morning.
