It's kind of a fine line between pride and confidence, don't you think? I've always differentiated it by categorizing one as pride and the other as foolish pride. Satisfaction and confidence in yourself are very good things. Thinking something makes you better than others is not good at all.
Maybe for you, but I'm certain it would be a disaster for me. I would be the one with toilet paper stuck to her shoe...the one who trips on her way to the table, spilling my drink all over the poor guy in the process while tipping my pocketbook and looking on in horror as tampons and God-Knows-What get flown about the room...
Agreed! The same should be applied for all hazardous substances or any other business, for that matter. You've got to look at the long-range and make sure everything is planned for in terms of the "full circle." It only makes sense!
The Government should be held to the same standards. Remember all the screaming after they gave the bailouts and companies then started awarding big bonusus? Well, who the hell would hand over a blank check without first insisting on some provisions?
But seriously, I think everyone has their own personal barometer and are sensitive to different fears and anxieties. You might be prone to follow one set of advice but not another. I suppose personal experience has alot to do with it, too.
RE: How come why for?
That's true. Plus many hide their profiles when they are not on CS...
