I'm wondering what will happen if the final result is too close to count as a win. Whatever the result I believe the UK government has just had a very loud wake up call from the British public. Things have to change!
On average, we break wind, or ‘fart’, around five to 10 times each day. Although it may not be the most ‘acceptable’ form of behaviour, farts are a sign that we are healthy. We would have to eat a diet solely consisting of refined sugars to avoid breaking wind. Farts are a sign that we are eating enough fibre and that we have healthy gut bacteria. And a healthy gut means we have a strong immune system and effective gastrointestinal function. Now, there are some foods that can make you fart more, such as dairy products, sweet potatoes, oats, nuts, wheat and everyone’s favourite food on which to blame flatulence: beans. But these foods are all high in nutritional value. If your wind is exceptionally smelly, you can cut back on foods such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, bok choy, onions, leek and garlic. But even smelly farts have an important function. Flatulence contains hydrogen sulphide which, in large doses, can be lethal. But consumed in small doses, it protects your ‘mitochondria’ and, apparently, may even help to prevent dementia. In fact, a compound called AP39 is currently being extracted from hydrogen sulphide and, although in its early testing stages, is being used to help combat cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, strokes, arthritis and cancer. So, the next time you break wind, don’t be embarrassed, as your stinky farts may actually be prolonging your own life, as well as improving the health of those around you.
Why suicide? Staying will mean nothing changes, nothing will improve. Leaving means there have to be changes and that gives a chance to make things far better for the future of Britain
My first real toy that had a profound effect on me was a Meccano set my dad bought for me when I was around 8-9 years of age.
the second was a Philips electronics kit that taught how to make electronic circuits, crystal set radios etc, it was this that gave me the joy of electronics and eventually my career. I never dreamed as a child at the age of 60 I would become a Professor of English and be teaching all over Asia. Amazing how life can turn out.
I love mechanics and electronics and still make radios, guess I never truly grew up lol
Perhaps they realised it was all a big mistake? Perhaps they found they didn't really like some of the characteristics of their future partner? Perhaps they saw a few too many red flags? Perhaps you're finding fault with the wrong person?
So God didn't make a perfect man? He either made a mistake, which means he is fallible, or he didn't create man.I
You will now say man was given the chance to make a choice, but a perfect man would always make the right choice, so proving that man is not perfect, therefore God made a mistake!!
Since you boast so much about creating reading-writing, it was fortunate that the British continued to learn, expand and gain knowledge from around the world, all the while the Greeks laid back in their growing ego and became the most backward nation in Europe, proved by your lack of understanding the written word.
Me too, tonight I had a beef hot pot, made in a very traditional style of western China, very very spicy with tons of red chili peppers, but a truly delicious meal.
Don't worry your ex prince is looking after them very well.
And for your general information, Ancient Britons during the iron age, around the same time as the construction of the parthenon, lived in secure round houses, made from stone walls and with a thatched roof. They also had a vast trading area stretching deep across Europe.
The Greeks, Germans and Portuguese have lived in most countries around the world, so yes I knew.
I had a British education, so learning Greek/latin was part of my education, and yes I also know that a large proportion of todays modern language of British English is derived from old ancient German, ancient Greek, Latin and French.
I am using a comparison to show the marked difference between Ancient Greece and Modern Greece, Nigerian is a corrupt and greedy country, still trying to pull itself into the developed world, the USA is a first world, developed country.
If you don't understand, maybe best not to make a comment!!!
Really?? I can think of at least three other European countries with far better food, amazing cultures and a history that beggars belief, first off Italy, second Greece, third Yugoslavia. And thats without sitting down and giving real thought.
Worldwide, France isn't even in the top ten lol However, it does have some good food and in areas an interesting culture, historically hmmm without Napoleon its fairly boring.
Check your history, 500 British soldiers were murdered by EOKA terrorists, the British fought alongside real Cypriots to free them against the Turkish invasion, for which the Cypriots have always shown great gratitude. The British have been and are now very welcome in Cyprus, unlike the Greeks, who turned their backs on the Cypriot people, hence the bad feeling between the two countries.
Yet in your last post you did exactly that regarding China
For your information, I did live in the USA, in Austin, TX and in Indiana. I think I have a far more reasonable view of the world than many who have never left the town they were born in let alone travelled abroad!
Unfortunately Ancient Greece and modern Greece are as far apart as comparing the USA with Nigeria, with Nigeria being modern day Greece. With corruption, lies and outright greed, Greece has almost become a third world country, not helped by German financial restraints. However, it cannot be denied that without the financial support of many European countries, Greece would be in an even worse position, they should be grateful for the assistance they have received so far, not kick the hand that feeds them!!
What is wrong with gun control? Why do certain people equate regulations with removal? Common sense would say logical control is the sensible way forward, especially in a country with such a high level of death by guns!
