RE: Who Pays A Higher Tax Rate Than Obama?

So why won't Trump release his latest tax returns? If he has paid his fair share, even using legal tax dodging, why is he being so coy releasing them? What is he hiding?

With all the leaks taking place in the Whitehouse, they will come out one way or another, one day and that could really open a can of worms perhaps?

RE: Who Pays A Higher Tax Rate Than Obama?

The site management have, for reasons known only to themselves, made the political threads viewable only under that category, I would surmise, to try and keep them away from the main list, as they can be controversial.

Not censorship per se, but damn close.

RE: Who Pays A Higher Tax Rate Than Obama?

He certainly has a way for writing off Tax, it is of course legal, but is it moral?

Hmmm, so the trumpettes think it means something comparing a reluctant tax return of trumps from 2008 with Obamas voluntary released tax return of 2015. More twisting of the truth.

Like a professor who professes they are in the 35% tax bracket, indicating they earn in excess of $400,000.00 per year, yet the average pay for a well qualified University Professor is around $120,000.00 to $180,000.00.

The lies just flow out of some without them realising at times.

RE: Outsourced jobs, might all come back

Especially as the Asian countries now have the technology, expertise and a willing labour force, to manufacture the self-same products and even with a tariff, would sell at less than home produced items, It's all very well spouting theoretical ideas, but America needs someone with some foresight to see what will happen in 10-20 years, and Trump can't see further than his next tweet.

A disaster waiting to happen. dunno

RE: Liberal Feminists, you're needed!

It's called Freedom of speech, and thousands died to allow your fellow citizens the right to say what they like.

Like it or not, if Freedom of speech is censored, it will be the end of the USA

RE: Yo America !

Maybe fake professors don't really understand the true meaning of "Majority" but think a system that changes it to a man made decision rather than one man one vote system is fairer.

While the Electoral college system is used in the USA, many would question how effective it is in the 21st century

RE: Yo America !

Reboot and restore, what a great idea, wonder which date to restore from, 1700 may be a good one, so we don't make the same mistakeslaugh

Happy Paddies day for tomorrowcheers

RE: Be careful... CIA is watching you via your microwave...uhhh

I would hazard a guess that unless your coffee percolator, fruit blender, Microwave, electric tin opener are connected to the internet in some way, then the chances are slim to zero of anyone being terrified to death seeing you in your boxers, on the plus side, if they did see you via your smart TV, then be proud and do a dance so they can die with a smile on their face laugh laugh

RE: Is Christianity a word?

Looking at if from a lexicology point of view the answer may well be no.

Christ ..... one word
ianity from insanity - second word.

So perhaps we can extrapolate the whole thing as being........

Christ is insanity.

Tha answer to your question therefore is , No it is three words

RE: Is Christianity a word?

So, just you then giggle

RE: FREE PRESS.

I wish the freedom of press was just that, a freedom to print stories that even though they may embarrass or shame world leaders, or famous people, if it's the truth then maybe we the people should be made aware of the facts, the problem lies with the artificial facts, the trapping of innocent people by unscrupulous journalists.

Something as to be done to stop the fake journalism, bo who do the people turn to? They can only turn to the highest body, which is usually the government. But then the Government see a way to stop themselves being embarrassed, so they create regulations that are way above those needed. those regulations are then ignored and so more lies printed. A vicious circle!!

Or look at the censored press in countries like China, where the control is so strong that only certain news is published and vast amounts of news is kept away from the public, giving a totally false account of events. No lies, just not fully true, like the trolls on CS, they take a story, prune it back keeping just the bits that show themselves in a good light and deceive the public, worse, again like out Trolls, they underestimate the public's resourcefulness to seek out the facts from credible sources.

The biggest loser in both scenarios are the governments (and trolls)

RE: About the Demise of A Species

interesting thought.

When you look back in time we can see so many species rise up and then died off, nature being a cruel mistress. So perhaps we (Mankind) should leave things as mother earth intended and let nature run things?

Having said that, would mother nature, in all her wisdom and strength, have allowed the human race to wreak havoc on this planet without some control? Maybe we are part of her plan, using our destruction to create new life forms that eventually will rise to the top of the food chain and the human race will die away completely.

RE: Religion - is it a must ?

My apologies to the OP for the thread Hijack, I was having such a laugh I got carried away, I will now desist and hope, your original message and point has not been lost.

It was an interesting topic, sorry again.cheers

RE: Religion - is it a must ?

I guess you are insecure with your own masculinity that you have to keep asking people to be A MAN, but it's okay, transgender folks are slowly being accepted in China, so you should be safe passing though the customs.

RE: Religion - is it a must ?

So many questions, makes one wonder just where your true agenda lies, and what false claims, you keep claiming everyone else is posting false claims yet never provide any proven facts yourself, saying you wrote a book is not proof, it means you wrote a booklaugh :laugh

Oh did I mention I wrote a book, disproving all the lies about so called Chinese massacres, of course you would need to understand Chinese to read it rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

So I'll answer your questions with my questions, why are you living in a country that has shunned Turkish leaders and called Erdogan a dictator and murderer?

What are you doing there? Giving aid and support to terrorists or harbouring spies to cause more deaths to Kurds?

Or perhaps you lied about your location, so where are you really from Dante? Let me Guess Turkeybanana banana

RE: Be careful... CIA is watching you via your microwave...uhhh

And your point is?? No one of importance is denying they used surveillance to check if there was a possible security breach within the Trump camp, it would have been gross negligence had nothing been done to check if the national security had been breached. But the lies about it being used for an advantage during the election is nothing but a red herring, done to divert attention away from the lies perpetrated by Trumps supporters. Not one shred of evidence has been found to show any interference to the election had been done by Obama or his agencies.

RE: Food and drink picture thread

I have never understood the enthusiasm over caviar, to me it's like eating black sea salt, same with truffle, had a real slice some years ago in Lyon, and thought it was okay but why the fuss, to me it is all about ego and saying, look what I can afford and you can't laugh

You get the same with wine, often people buy expensive wine because it is a way to show off, whereas a cheaper wine can taste much nicer and you can have twice as much laugh laugh laugh

RE: If we were to talk about

Hot, fruit, animals, curry, reading

RE: Etiquette

Politeness and social manners used to be taught in British schools, I remember being taught how to shake hands correctly, how to stand when woman leaves a table, to open a door and pull back a chair for a lady. Etc.Etc.

Sadly with advent of "equality" many of the "old fashioned" social graces are no longer seen as such and so got pushed aside, but in doing so, many of the other social manners got washed down the sink too.

Modern society says a person must earn respect before being respected, whereas I was taught to always show respect until that person does something that reduces respect.

RE: Outsourced jobs, might all come back

How true, like the idiots who make threads trying to infer that Christianity is the same today as it was hundreds of years ago.

Idiots who say they will block posters who don't keep to the topic, and then go off topic themselves.

Or idiots who think they must be telling the truth, when they change their names and location as fast as they change their underwear rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Should Trump move his own business interests and money back to America too?

Or maybe her comments just go way over some people heads, people with closed minds often get baffled laugh laugh

RE: Monica Crowley and her observations of Trump's future

What???

My reply was nothing to do with Trump, why twist things? I never mentioned Trump, laugh laugh laugh laugh

Oh and a youtube video is hardly solid proof that Obama is a Muslim, when he has stated many times he is a Christian, and there is plenty of documented proof that Obama attended many Christian Church services, something a Muslim is forbidden to do. Not to mention the thousands of occasions where he has been seen, photographed and videoed drinking beer or wine, Muslims are not permitted to drink alcohol.

So no, I didn't lie, I said what I truly believe, and have never seen any tangible evidence that says otherwise.

It's not worth my time to prove something that is obvious to those with an open mind.

So why should I do as you demand?

Finally, maybe you can use google to see what lies Monica has made, 5 million hits should provide you with some solid proven evidence. laugh laugh

RE: Monica Crowley and her observations of Trump's future

Some more revelations about the liar Monica Crowley:-

By one of her lecturers at university.

In my course on Crisis Diplomacy at Middlebury College this January, each of my students signed an honor pledge that the work they submit is wholly their own.
Meanwhile, Monica Crowley, the Trump administration's initial pick for a senior strategic communications position on the National Security Counci--who on Monday said she has withdrawn from consideration for the job --plagiarized some 50 passages in her 2012 book "What the (Bleep) Just Happened?" and significant portions of her Ph.D. dissertation from Columbia University.
My students are what Trump supporters might call the "special snowflakes" of an elite institution of higher learning, but Monica Crowley was slated for foreign policy work in the real world. While the Trump camp would maintain these two worlds have little in common, they are mistaken. Honesty and integrity are as important for national security as they are in the quest for knowledge. If Crowley were to serve in a Trump administration, she, like my students, would have had to promise to maintain the highest ethical standards.

So I reserve the right to name and shame her as a proven liar.

One has to wonder why a government would want to employ someone who obviously has no honesty or integrity, or can we assume that is standard qualifications for trumps administration, seems to follow a pattern lol.

Plagiarism for those who may not know, means to use work or ideas, created by someone else, and to deceitfully make out it was their own work, used by many to obtain professional qualifications fraudulently.

RE: My kids leaves me higher than ever before !

Because gaining independence is very important in the USA, it doesn't mean the parents wash their hands of responsibility or stop loving their children. It means they want their children to learn how to cope with life's problems and struggles, as the parents know they won't always be around to pick up the pieces.

To suggest that letting your children become independent is wrong is just evil.
