This I just a thought: people shy away from people who appear too needy. I’m not saying that’s who you are, but perhaps trying too hard? You DO bring this up quite a bit.
it all started with the MacDonalds coffee being “ too hot”. Since then, seemingly ridiculous warning labels have come out. (Shall superglue have the packaging statement :” warning- this product may adhere and bond tightly”. Duh...
We certainly are living in frustrating times. I do believe that there are still many very wonderful Americans, and I remain optimistic that kindness and a cooperative spirit will ultimately win over. I do realize that this rural, coastal area I was born in is insulated much better than some other regions. I try to remember the adage, “If the world were completely covered with concrete the flowers would, at length, yet break through”.
What I’m disliking is the hatefulness. Now, the FBI is investigating the deliberate blocking ( in traffic) of one party preventing the other ( campaign vehicle) from moving...where have we gone, America? This is NOT what we stand for.
Oh forevermore, Molly. Life really throws some heavy responsibilities our way, doesn’t it? Take care of yourself. There have been some U.S. nurses and docs who have/ are refusing to go to work ( different opinions about this abound...) I can’t say how I feel...I’m not in those shoes anymore. Not an expert here, BUT, actually both genders have been choosing the single life for quite some time. We had an additional staff on at the medical center during full moons. I’m not all that into the paranormal, however, the full moon affects attitudes and emotions, hands down.
