Well maybe a little. Am I in pain at this moment ? I feel like there's a 10 inch spike driven through my knee with the pain radiating in all directions. I took an Oxycodon and 4 shots of Scotch, no effect at all.
Give me a fantasy to concentrate on, a distraction, anything.

Had my knee operation today. Half way through it one of the assisting nurses felt faint and had to sit with her head on her knees for a while. No explanation was given when I asked her what happened.
Glad it was her and not the surgeon who couldn't stand the site of blood.
I wish that I was tired. I love dream-land. We don't pay enough attention to this "Other world", that we live in...Dreams. Our unconscious escape to the universe where everything is sorted out, except we usually don't remember the conclusions, for lack of a better word.
Do we sleep and dream, or are we dreaming now, thinking that we are awake ? It's a fine line.
