RE: In total shock & disbelief

Be strong my dear.

I love you all.

Forget about my rantings and diatribes, I simply love you. Yes, even you.

RE: Ok men this is just for fun.....

My wife asked me if I loved her. I answered YES. 4 days later she announced that she was in love with a woman, I was out, the other woman was in. We had been married for 20 years. Such is life.

For those who know me.

I am not the harbinger of doom. I see the world as it is and often write in what may seem to be a negative view. I do however, see the human race as being at a cross roads in our short time on this planet. I do not see religion, colour, ethnicity nor race, I only see homo-sapiens; us.

If you hosted a house party and within an hour, guests were shooting, beating, murdering each other. What would you do ? The world is now attending that party. Who do you call ? The Marines, the United Nations, the Taliban, the Congo war lords....? We have a problem here that is not impossible to solve....communication is the answer, yet it may take another few millions lives for us to "Get it".

RE: It's got to be possible.....

Just connect them with the state.

RE: It's got to be possible.....

Major cities should count.

RE: HAPPINESS!!!!!!!!!

I know what you're going through, and it hurts so much. It may seem at this point that there's no tomorrow, but you are doing the right thing by expressing yourself on an open forum. I don't know you, but I feel your pain as so many here do. Rest your head on our shoulders for a moment, we care.

RE: HAPPINESS!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Well said.

RE: HAPPINESS!!!!!!!!!

Took the suicidal thoughts right out of my mind. Thanks.

RE: "If everyone lights just one little candle what a bright world it would be"

Damn, my living rooms' on fire.

RE: It's got to be possible.....

"I've been everywhere", by Johnny cash mentions all the states, I think.

I finally found it....

If I can help in any way, just ask. Leo

RE: "If everyone lights just one little candle what a bright world it would be"

YES !

I finally found it....

Type that letter, but do whatever it takes to remain in your son's life. He needs you.

I finally found it....

Robbie, I know how it feels. I moved from the West coast to Ontario to be close to my younger daughter. I would have moved to Alfa Centauri to be close to her.

I finally found it....

Robbie, sorry to hear that your son will be so far away from you. Look me up when you get here. Leo

I finally found it....

Kuwahara. Australian Shiraz, about $10 bucks. Excellent.

I finally found it....

Thank you. I'll have to try that.

I finally found it....

I agree, especially on the Blue Nun.

I finally found it....

Breathing, pulse rate, 90 BPM. Although if I click on your pic., it'll go up to 120 BPM.

How are you ?

I finally found it....

I believe that they have canceled production of this car.

I finally found it....

PS: A Les Paul Gibson for $200.00 would be a great benefit for the world as well.

I finally found it....

Nice to see you again Cards'.

Paws

I finally found it....

Correction; "your".

I finally found it....

A little acidic but other than that, quite good. I'd recommend using it as the second bottle to be opened. Open a Wolf Blass first, after that you're taste buds won't know the difference.

I finally found it....

A $7.00 (Canadian) bottle of Shiraz/Malbec, from Argentina, and it's actually drinkable. FuZion is the name. Big deal you may say ? Yes. To me it's like gas for .25 cents a litre, or a $10.00 phone bill. Maybe Globalization does have its benefits.

Now if some country can come up with the equivalent in a car, or PC. A brand new car for $ 4000.00, a PC for $150.00. A woman who loves zirconia diamonds.....NOT.

Go easy on Obama.

I hope you're right.

The Brick Wall.

Never before in my life have I become so empty, dispassionate. Maybe it's age. Maybe it's just being bored and tired of this smoke and mirrors life that we live. The industrial revolution set the standards for the male existence; be strong, be the protector, be all things to society....even if it kills you, and it is killing us. Why do men die 8 years before their spouse ? Why do men go on a killing spree ?

I do believe that this economic crisis is the "Brick Wall", that we have been heading for since England sparked the mechanisn of cottage industry.

Bail out the banks, General Motors, where is this money coming from ? If people can't afford a new car, or get credit....think about it. It is the "End Times".

Go easy on Obama.

He threw his hat into the ring to become President, but that was before the world wide melt down. He has now taken on an impossible job. I hope that whatever he decides is not judged....he became captain of a sinking ship.
