I'm now in my 60's. I just declared bankruptcy. Never thought that my life would end up this way. Such is life. Two marriages, two beautiful daughters. Now alone and feeling it.
The "White Picket Fence and Home", dream, that many of us had, my generation anyway, was just one more delusion added to the insane belief that we actually knew what we were doing.

A week or so ago I dumped on the Republicans sentiment. I just now read the posts. Someone said I was a coward for not hanging around to defend my statements. When it comes to politics/philosophy/religion/state of mind, there is no defending one's view.
As humans, we are frail and confused. Some turn to religion to feel safe. Others tend to explore the human condition.
Bottom line; open a beer, eat a pizza, get laid, wash your car.....and wait.
at how many Obama haters there are on this site. Under the Bush years, invading Iraq at a cost of trillions, torture etc., all under the lie that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, while allowing Wall St., to rip off most Americans via mortgage schemes and walking away with billions of dollars. Throughout the Bush administration, the USA was brought to it's knees. You owe China $3 trillian, therefore China owns you, and all this was brought about with the antiquated beliefs of the Republicans. Remember the Nixon era....."Kill a commie for Christ". It took 68,000 young American lives in VietNam, for what ? The USA now trades with that country.
Wake the f* up.....the USA, is not the center of the universe, read a book, look at a map, Rambo is fictional.
I have a feeling that the USA will go the same route as ancient Rome, self destruction. Don't believe me ? Take a look at your bank account as compared to what you owe and the job that you may not have tomorrow. The murder rate, the drug problem....as compared to most Western countries. Do you know what the European Union even means ? I doubt it.

I watched Obama's press conference tonight and he always amazes me with his honesty and brilliance. For the first time in my life I am jealous of the U.S.A.

A case of Swine Flu was announced today in a town just 30 minutes from me. By tomorrow the W.H.O. will raise the alert to a "6", which means a world wide pandemic. I'm starting to take notice of Nostradamus and the Mayan predictions of the world ending in some fashion in 2012.
