I wouldn't call Nirvana rock. A lot of their stuff was just drug fuelled noise. Metallica would have to make this list. I know most of their stuff is heavy but when you listen to it from a pure musicians point of view and actually play some of their stuff its clear that a lot of it is rock. Every time I try to commit, I've noticed that's when problems start. I want to bring all of myself to a relationship but with the people I've been meeting so far lately that seems to be a bad thing. While I stay aloof its no problem. Not yet sure what to make of that. It's a process of learning.

You my friend are talking a lot of shit and obviously have not been in the real world my self being a pilot and been to most countries in the world ( more than once ). I came home from work to find my wife now ex wife in bed with my now ex best friend.We separated and divorced, which was rather messy.
I was hurt very badly.
I am now in a happy relationship.
We live as if we WERE married.
We have financial equality, and are old and mature enough to take responsibilities for our actions.
We both see no need for marriage.

I have been single for almost five years
I would like to push the fact that committing to a relationship does not mean you have to get married
Marriage is nothing more than a formal way to say I AM YOURS FOREVER
I would happily commit my body mind and soul to to miss right
That means everything that would be expected while married and more as far as I'm concerned
I don't need a piece of paper to commit
Lets look at it this way
The wedding day is always considered the ladies day and arranged to suit the ladie

I agree 100%. Most of those things, if not all of them happened to me, it was a mistake that shouldn't have happened. Im here now to try to correct my earlier mistake, I hurried things too fast, thought I had the right girl, but I didn'tthink of possible consequences that could happen, we ended up as total opposites, and in my case opposites don't
attract.
Great work, I agree with your list, others should also read your list when thinking about starting a potential relationship, in my case it was a marriage that just didn't work out.
