Tide of Migrant Archaeologists Pouring into Europe

Tide of Migrant Archaeologists Pouring into Europe.
War, Famine, lack of funds and the small amount Archaeological sites around the world have prompted an unprecedented tide of Migrants into the EU where they hope to find old sites worthy of excavations.
The desperate Archaeologists have been entering Europe in droves, groups of up to 3 or 4 have been seen on the roads to Europe. The EU have had urgent meetings in the palatial surroundings of the Brussels headquarters and quotas have been set for all EU members to take these poor people.
The Lefties in Britain have demanded that more Archaeologists be allowed to settle and also demanded that sites like Stonehenge be opened up to satisfy the migrants, fights broke out in London over the weekend as anti Archaeologists demanded that they "Go home" and "Go dig in your own historical sites"
The PM said that he and the British Government understood the plight of the migrant historical diggers but he would insist that no new sites would be opened until they had been here for 4 years, the EU President scoffed at this and with his Leftist Labour pal said NO NO NO.........give them a historical site immediately on arrival. Mr Farage commented to the press that this could lead to Surveyors, tree surgeons and more scrambling into the EU and it should be halted.

We spoke to a Migrant Archaeologist who said he had come from Egypt where he was simply sick of Gipshun stuff and mummified people and wanted a new life with new challenges and dig sites.

The image (Copyright of who ever took it) shows a group of migrant Archaeologists that had set up an illegal camp on a supposed historical site on a farm near Carlisle owned by a Mr. Lavortium Brush MBE who said they just keep digging and had stolen his reinforcement mesh to make a scale grid.

Dating someone who has children

In most cases it would be a woman looking for a man.
It’s obvious that the woman and her kids come as a package and you would need to complement the divorced or single parent’s life.

It’s more than likely they may have some trust issues so perhaps a lot of patience is needed for the relationship to reach a comfortable level, however if you really like the person then they would certainly be worth the wait.

So those Women who have children, what are you looking for in a new partner?

If you were on Death Row...

What would be your last meal?

What would be your last words?

Who would you like to see as the lights went out on your life?

This is just for fun...

For me, A steak, rare and baked potato with a Caesar salad.

I would say something like "I have a headache, could I have an Aspirin?"

I would like to see whoever had made me the happiest.

The meaning of life

The meaning of life

Looking at our purpose of being here, find a mate, procreate and live with the basic necessities of life which are food, clothing and shelter.

However, this world of ours is full of greed and deception, Sickness and starvation, most of us strive to be the best we can within our own individual circumstances, none of us is alike and our expectations and the reality of our lives are very different.

What’s missing?

What else do we need to ensure our lives are fulfilled and how do we achieve them?

The obvious answer is happiness and a sense of wellbeing, once we have the basic necessities of life we each need to find our own way, other people’s expectations seem to dominate what we are looking for, we need to find our own way.

There are some steps we can take:-

Friendships- Having friends who are there for you when you need them and vice versa are a must.

Give, don’t just take- Be charitable and help others in need, be kind and generous.

Communicate- We get this wrong all the time, take some time to speak to someone, on the phone or in person, emails and texts are fine some of the time but we tend to either type too much or too little to convey what we really want to say, this leads to confusion or misunderstandings.

Be Realistic- We all live in a bit of a dream world, high expectations and peer pressure are the cause of so many problems, from finding an ideal mate to an ideal job and more...Be yourself, live within your means and stop worrying about what others have.

How about emoticon free comments?( Not a rule)

From War to Peace..a mind and body journey

From War to Peace
Serving in Rhodesia and other African countries during the wars in the late 70’s and early 80’s the comparison of then and now..

Then: - My eyes saw pain; they saw what no eyes should see, darkness and misery.
Now: - They see life, nature and beauty and beautiful women.

Then: - My ears, they heard the loudness of destruction, they heard the screams.
Now: - They hear music, birds singing, children playing and people laughing.

Then:-My nose, it smelt the nastiness, the acrid cordite and smells I cannot mention.
Now: - I smell the morning air, the coffee, flowers and the scent of a woman’s perfume.

Then:- My hands, they held weapons, they touched death, they touched sadness.
Now: - They touch life, they are tender but they are strong, they can hold hands with a lover, they can wipe tears away, they can still protect those who need protection.

Then: - My heart...My heart just pumped blood, it’s all It was there for.
Now: - I can give love and affection, I can feel my heartbeat faster when I am with someone special, it’s not just pumping blood.

Then: - My Mind and soul...I was just a number, my name taken from me, acceptable as collateral...no more.
Now:-I have a name, I have a personality, I have a soul, I am me...My mind can be shared, best of all I can give love.

Cat Milk Cheese

With a few cats around the garden and some soon to be donated I have started a Cat milk cheese business.

Its not easy to milk the cats but I have a special harness and gloves, the work is hard as it takes 4 pints of cat milk to make a pound of cheese.

The cheese is known as "Fromage de Gato" and is popular in France and other European countries.

I have tried to make butter but the fat content of cats milk is a bit low.

Im looking recipes to make different cheese's, mozzarella is the only one Ive had success with. Below is a photo of Morag enjoying her daily milking.

Is old fashioned romance dead?

These days the internet and mobile technology has allowed us to meet people all over the world, messaging, Skype and these internet dating sites have become normal even to those of us over 50.

I do miss the days when I would have to ask permission from a girl’s father, getting dressed up and taking her out for a meal, sending flowers the next day even if the date didn’t go well. Cards and letters? a thing of the past.

Instant messaging is great, but so is talking on the phone, hearing someone’s voice, listening to what they have to say can still give me a warm feeling.

Meeting someone in person for the first time after messages and phone calls should be exciting, the days building up to the meeting are full of nervous worries “will she like me” “will I like her”........Normally these worries are silly but it’s how it should be.

What would be your ideal first date? And do you think that technology has taken away the romance?
