Worst thing you ever bought online

Perhaps being drunk on eBay? We all buy some weird stuff.

I have!...A wood stove at a bargain price, turns out it was for a dolls house.

A palette of 500 mixed paperbacks...they were all the same book..

Seems the book seller didn't grasp the concept of 'mixed', eh map?

Nope...haven't bought anything online.

I heard of a guy who paid good money for a Solar Powered Clothes Dryer.
He got a hundred feet of line and a bag of clothes pins.

Thing is round here the courier services are so bad I don't buy anything on whim, have to make arrangements with friends to take delivery, so have been happy with everything I've bought.......so far uh oh laugh
2B, enough paper for the stove giggle
To clarify, the stove was 4 inches tall, made from plastic for a dolls house, I didn't read the description!...the books, I made a fort and then burned them in the outdoor fireplace.

Refuse to answer on the grounds it may incriminate me. rolling on the floor laughing I have been known to be impulsive.

I did buy a set of antique fire-irons at an auction (in South Africa) for a really good price and bore them home proudly. My husband pointed out we didn't have a fireplace.

Huh. First house I rented after we split up DID have a fireplace. The irons looked GREAT. (Or should that be GRATE? laugh)
A blow up doll with a slow leak..
It kept going down on me
'-)
Oldblue...priceless!

Biff..nice one
Online pictures can be very deceitful. As you've noticed, items can be magnified to look a lot bigger in a photo! Always check measurements...if its not there, ask.

I have bought many things online and and there were times I was disappointed.

Best to see it in person.... but I still buy online as do others because of the convenience.
The gold detector... Usually a decent one is about 5 grand, but I saw one from china for $120 that claimed to do all the same things. When it arrived, the instructions made no sense and the buttons and functions just werent there. Didnt find any gold with it, but I did use it to find a lawnmower blade that came off one time.
My daughter ordered an item to test ebay. I think that was last year and I am yet to see what it looks like. doh doh laugh
