Power of the Pen vs The Sword
If the pen is mightier than the sword, why do actions speak louder than words?Pretoria - A house robber is in hospital after he was slashed with a sword in Bassonia, Johannesburg, on Friday. The man was part of a gang of three who tried breaking into a house in the early hours of Friday morning. "The house owner heard them and woke up. When he went to investigate, he saw three men in the house. They tried to attack him and he reached for a display sword and defended himself,"
BELOW:And its a well known fact that our Police Force imports these pens in BULK for making out the crime dockets.

Well all I can say, is sometimes the need dictates which is more powerful. In your robbing case, the sword came in handy.
Anyways, on the mighty pen, oh yes it works better when we are just babbling about these events.
Have a nice day Luke..
Oh! Very interesting idea.
Kool pen!
Talking about Cat, I wish the guy would return and entertain us with a few of his very interesting blogs once more.
Re: Clever.
It so happened that I was skyping with Kitty just before she decided to leave Johannesburg and move to Port Elizabeth, that she heard a 'bang/snap' in the far end of her house, went down the passage to investigate and met mr. burglar halfway down the passage. Could you imagine how I felt hearing the screams for help and not physically being able to help....
I see your passport is valid again.. enjoy your travels Now I need food..
"it is my understanding that no further attemps were made!"

Yes! I got the message. I just been a little busy. Sorry! I will return your message before Christmas___
I think anyone who breaks into a home...gets what they deserve...
There is a Baltimore college student a year or so ago who encountered a burglar coming into his house from the garage. The burglar attacked and the young man defended himself with a samurai sword. Burglars arm was severed and a mess made of the house floor.
City Police were not terribly amused by any of it, but it was ruled justifiable self defense.
