God Places Rainbow In Sky, Promising Never To Flood The Earth With Liberal Tears Again

U.S.—Amazed onlookers across the country confirmed Tuesday that a massive, brilliant rainbow appeared in the sky, a promise from the Almighty that He will never flood the earth with so many liberal tears again.

A booming voice accompanied the wondrous sign, making a covenant with the nation never to allow liberals' tears to cover the entire surface of the earth again, as occurred over the past several weeks. The miraculous message in the heavens appeared just as the floodwaters from Brett Kavanaugh's nomination began to recede and portions of dry land began to emerge from the surface of the waters.

"It's great that we have this guarantee because I was getting really worried about how we would keep our heads above water when Ginsburg retires," said one man in Connecticut. "Praise the Lord for His grace upon mankind!"

Kavanaugh himself celebrated the reappearance of dry land by planting a vineyard and telling his family he was going to go lie down in an adjacent tent for a while, according to sources.

The covenant does have one loophole, however: should Trump win reelection, the Lord would make "no guarantees" that a literal worldwide flood would not occur.

The Left's Rent-A-Riot on full display

Democrats and Liberals should feel shame. YOU have chosen to behave in this manner. YOUR leaders encourage this. I haven't heard one Democrat or Liberal voice seriously denounce such stuff. The Democratic leadership sees this stuff as a tool to get their way. Kavanaugh is a middle-aged guy that worked very hard as a Federal judge for 10 years, and was actually pretty middle of the road. Susan Collins stood up and spoke commonsense with uncommon eloquence. Yell at Senators in elevators. Accost Sara Saunders and her family in restaurants. And the Left's nut job's are screaming at them, and sending death threats. YOU own that.?

Taylor Swift Breaks Political Silence To Throw Support Behind Restoring Shogun To Throne Of Japan

NEW YORK—In a heartfelt social media statement to her fans, singer–songwriter Taylor Swift broke her long-standing political silence Monday to support restoring an all-powerful shogun to its rightful place on the throne of Japan. “Hey guys, Taylor here—I’m writing this post because I’ve been inspired by recent events to speak up about why we need to install an all-powerful military dictatorship in Japan’s imperial palace,” said the famously apolitical pop star, admitting that in the past, she had been “reluctant” to voice her long-held support for Japan’s famously brutal system of medieval clan-based governance, but felt differently after witnessing the country’s decay since the final shogun, Tokugawa Yoshinobu, fell from power in 1868. “I believe that a weak-willed democratic Japan is WRONG. I believe the dilution of the proud Tokugawa Clan’s samurai class is WRONG. Please, please educate yourself on the Meiji Restoration’s folly. Only through the blood and steel of a true shogunate ruler can Japan flourish. Thanks for reading. XOXOXO.” At press time, bloggers had criticized Swift for going too far after she called on current Emperor Akihito to immediately surrender his throne and commit seppuku for disgracing Japan.

‘The Democrats’ Crazed, Hysterical Attempt at Left-Wing Mob Rule Has Failed’

Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) released a statement Saturday after the Senate confirmed Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, saying the Democrats' "crazed, hysterical" attempt at mob rule failed.

"Judge Kavanaugh was a distinguished jurist who respects our Constitution and the judiciary’s vital but limited role in our system of government. I expect Justice Kavanaugh will continue to interpret the Constitution and the laws as written, rather than asserting his own preferences as law," Cotton said in his statement. "Sadly, because Democrats have long depended on activist judges to impose their unpopular ideas on an unwilling people, the Democrats waged a scorched-earth campaign of character assassination against him. But the Democrats’ crazed, hysterical attempt at left-wing mob rule has failed, and rightfully so. Today is a victory not only for Justice Kavanaugh and his family, but also for the rule of law, due process, fair play, and basic decency."

Senate Democrats attempted to block Kavanaugh's confirmation by using allegations of s*xual misconduct lodged against him in recent weeks. The allegations went back to when he was in high school and college. Democrats focused their efforts on the allegations in an attempt to galvanize opposition and put pressure on Republican senators such as Susan Collins (Maine) and Jeff Flake (Ariz.). Both ended up voting for Kavanaugh.

Kavanaugh's first accuser Christine Blasey Ford told the Washington Post that Kavanaugh, then a junior in high school, attacked her when they were at a party in Maryland in the early 1980s. A second allegation came from a woman named Deborah Ramirez who accused Kavanaugh of exposing himself at a dorm party during his freshman year at Yale. Another allegation was brought forth from a woman named Julie Swetnick, who is represented by anti-Trump lawyer Michael Avenatti. Swetnick claimed Kavanaugh was involved in a series of "gang rapes" when he was in high school, but she offered no additional evidence or witnesses to support her allegations.

Kavanaugh has vehemently denied all accusations and there have been no corroborating witnesses to the alleged assaults.

Senate Democrats have called the allegations credible with several stating that Kavanaugh doesn't get the presumption of innocence.

In a close vote, the Senate confirmed Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court 50-48. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R., Alaska) voted "present" to offset her no vote with the absence of her colleague Sen. Steve Daines (R., Mont.). Daines was at his daughter's wedding but was willing to come back to D.C. if his vote was needed. The vote was largely on party lines with Murkowski being the only Republican who didn't vote for Kavanaugh's confirmation, while Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.) was the lone Democrat voting in favor.

Senator Susan Collins' Finest Hour

Tammy Bruce: Susan Collins' speech tells us a lot about the GOP and America

In the midst of the debacle over the Senate confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, delivered a speech on the Senate floor Friday that reminded us of the potential of political discourse there.

As a supporter of President Trump and critic of the establishment swamp, I can say these last few weeks of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing have delivered more than one surprise for all of us.

Watching the Republican Party come together – and seeing senators who have personified the weakness of the GOP stand up for what’s right – has been a revelation.

If you had told me last month I would be praising Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Collins, I would have thought you were crazy. Yet here we are and all three have been beacons during this fight, and delivered when under extraordinary pressure.

Watching Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., sulk into an elevator, refusing to stand up to partisan hecklers, was dispiriting.

But Collins’ speech Friday was an inspiring reminder of what the Senate is supposed to embody – a place where lawmakers give a thoughtful and reasoned presentation of the facts before us – in this case regarding Judge Kavanaugh.

Collins spoke of Kavanaugh’s judicial record – not his high school yearbook. She discussed her extended personal conversations with him.

And Collins addressed Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Ford when the two were high schools students some 36 years ago.

While Collins said she believes Ford was assaulted by someone and respected her testimony, the senator detailed how the resulting investigations caused her to conclude that the allegations against Kavanaugh failed to meet the “more likely than not” minimum standard to keep him off the Supreme Court.

Collins also called the separate accusation by another woman that Kavanaugh had been present at a party where girls had allegedly been gang-raped “outlandish.”

All of the specious arguments made by Democrats and their various allied “resistance” groups were dismantled by the Maine senator, leaving the hysterical claims that Kavanaugh would be an ideological nuclear bomb on the court tattered on the floor like a piece of toilet paper dragged on someone’s heel.

And Collins spoke with a tone conveying a confident and heartfelt sincerity worthy of the moment.

In other words, the Democrats who had hoped that harassment and intimidation would frighten Senate Republicans into abandoning all sense of fairness had a very, very bad day. They will have an even worse weekend, since Kavanaugh now has enough support to make his Senate confirmation for a seat on the Supreme Court a virtual certainty.

Addressing the absurd gang-rape allegation, Collins said: “That such an allegation can find its way into the SCOTUS confirmation process is a stark reminder of why the presumption of innocence is so ingrained in our consciousness.”

It is likely unbelievable to Collins why some find the presumption of innocence and due process of law so pesky, because these vital standards make malevolent political attempts to destroy people much more difficult. When dealing in false allegations, due process is your enemy.

At one point, Collins said that “we have forgotten the common values that bind us together.” On that, she can speak only of Washington and the legacy media, as the American people have not forgotten a thing.

Donald Trump is president because we noticed what was happening in Washington and we did not like what we saw.

The Kavanaugh setup becomes clear

With each passing day and with each bit of information that seeps out about Christine Blasey Ford, it is clearer and clearer that what the Democrats have done to Judge Brett Kavanaugh has been a setup from the outset.

Most of us are relatively naïve, ready to believe what our news outlets put forth. We have open minds and were ready and willing to listen to Ford's testimony and consider for ourselves if it was believable. It was not. Her testimony was obviously scripted, practiced, massaged, and fabricated out of whole cloth.

Ford may have seemed like a victim, not of Kavanaugh, but perhaps of her Democrat operatives. Over the past days, however, what is nearer to the truth is that she was and is part of a faction of anti-Trump activists bent upon destroying Kavanaugh in order to deny Trump another nominee to the Supreme Court.

They have badly misjudged the wisdom and sentiment of the American people. These Democrats on the Judiciary Committee are so deluded by their belief in their own intellectual superiority that they felt comfortable publicly, derisively attacking a man with a reputation finer than any of those who sat in judgment. This was like Salieri sitting in judgment over the music of Mozart – preposterous.

At first, those of us paying attention were anxious to hear Ford's story. The bits of news that preceded her appearance before the Judiciary Committee were titillating. Was it possible that this man, Brett Kavanaugh, with a thirty-years-plus record of impeccable judicial service to his country, had a dark side? Then we heard Blasey Ford "testify." How anyone who listened to her practiced, phony childish act could believe that this was not calculated is a mystery. She was obviously scripted, coached, and performing.

Cotton: Feinstein to be investigated over leaked letter from Ford

Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s office will be investigated to determine whether it leaked a confidential letter from one of Brett Kavanaugh’s accusers, Sen. Tom Cotton said Sunday.

Cotton, an Arkansas Republican, also said lawyers recommended to Christine Blasey Ford by Democrats will face a Washington, D.C., bar investigation for telling her that Senate Judiciary Committee staffers would not travel to California to interview her about her s*xual-assault allegation.

“They have betrayed her,” Cotton said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “She has been victimized by Democrats ... on a search-and-destroy mission for Brett Kavanaugh.”

He also said Democrats would be at fault if women become less likely to report s*xual assaults now because they did not keep Ford’s request confidential, as she had asked.

“Any impact that this entire episode has had,“ Cotton told John Dickerson, “on women's willingness to come forward and report s*xual assault, which I encourage them all to do immediately after it happens, is caused by the Democrats, is caused by Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Schumer not respecting her requests for confidentiality.“

Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, had received a letter from Ford some months ago describing the incident with Kavanaugh but had kept the material confidential, as requested in the letter. At some point, information about Ford was leaked to the press, though the California Democrat denied that she or her office were responsible.

The FBI investigation into Ford's s*xual assault allegation against Kavanaugh is unlikely to bring any new evidence to light, Cotton said, adding that the Judiciary Committee had already conducted interviews and/or received letters from people that Ford said attended the gathering at which the alleged assault occurred.

“We already know what everyone at the party has said,” he said, adding that the investigation will likely make a few senators more comfortable about voting to confirm Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court.

Conclusion from yesterday's hearing: Kavanaugh will be confirmed

Dems and others praised Christine Blasey Ford for reporting and testifying about her claimed Kavanaugh assault incident, but the truth is that her story is not credible, and she lied that Kavanaugh attacked her. She was used by the Dems to defeat Kavanaugh and Trump.

Yesterday, Blasey Ford said she cannot remember incidents from the past few months but is sure that Kavanaugh attacked her 36 years ago.

She doesn't know, or refused to say, how she got from the swimming pool to the party house and how she got home. She was too young to drive, so someone had to drive her, and the identity of the driver is important. The driver would testify how she looked if she had been attacked, and what she said, but she refused to say who drove.

She cannot remember if she gave her therapy notes to the Washington Post two weeks ago.

There was no testimony as to whether she knew Kavanaugh and Mark Judge before this alleged attack, nor any testimony to describe what Kavanaugh and Judge looked like. She said she knew that Kavanaugh and Judge would be at the party but gave no testimony as to how she knew them and how she knew they would be at the "gathering."

10 Serious Problems With New Accusations Against Kavanaugh

1. The New Yorker could not find a single witness who could put Kavanaugh at the alleged party.
2. The New York Times could not find a single person who could corroborate Ramirez's claims.
3. The man accused of egging on Kavanaugh denied Ramirez's allegations and vouched for Kavanaugh's character.
4. A third person that Ramirez claimed was at the party says she was not there for the alleged incident.
5. Ramirez contacted her former classmates, asking about the incident, and admitted she was not sure that Kavanaugh was the male who exposed himself.
6. A woman who claims she was "best friends" with Ramirez says Ramirez never mentioned the story and initially said her friend's accusations against Kavanaugh might be "politically motivated."
7. Ramirez, just like Christine Blasey Ford, is a registered Democrat and is dedicated to leftist causes.
8. Ramirez wasn't even sure her memory was correct — until she spent six days going over it with her Democrat lawyer.
9. Ramirez admits there are holes in her memory due to how much she drank at the party.
10. People who knew Ramirez after her time at Yale say that she never once mentioned the incident — until Kavanaugh's nomination was pending.

83-Year-Old Man Kicks Three Armed ‘Cowards’ Out Of Bar

‘You can do nothing, or you can stand up to people like these!' Denis O'Connor explained after helping to beat armed robbers out of a Irish bar. This gentleman demonstrates how to actually stand up to injustice! After seeing the bartender grapple with an hammer-wielding punk, he steps up! He helps fight off the men and gives the final one a nice kick in the butt. The shop manager, Tim Murphy, told a local radio station that he heard O’Connor shout, “You’re cowards, you’re total cowards,” at the men.

Censure Dianne Feinstein - The Senate cannot let this wrong go unaddressed.

Regardless of the fate of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, the Senate should censure the ranking Democratic member of the Judiciary Committee, Dianne Feinstein. Her deception and maneuvering, condemned across the political spectrum, seriously interfered with the Senate’s performance of its constitutional duty to review judicial nominations, and unquestionably has brought the Senate into “dishonor and disrepute,” the standard that governs these matters. As a matter of institutional integrity, the Senate cannot let this wrong go unaddressed.

Article I, Section 5 of the Constitution provides that each House of the Congress may “punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour.” Nine times in American history the Senate has used that power to censure one of its members. Feinstein has richly earned the right to join this inglorious company.

The senior senator from California not only disgraced herself personally in the underhanded and disingenuous way she dealt with the sex-assault charge against Judge Kavanaugh, but she also misused her position on the Judiciary Committee and broke faith with her fellow committee members. She was further, to quote the San Francisco Chronicle, no less, “unfair” to Judge Kavanaugh — manipulating the public disclosure of the charge so as to maximize the adverse publicity Judge Kavanaugh received and minimize the judge’s opportunity to defend himself. Censure is appropriate in this case for the Senate to defend its procedures and institutional reputation.

By her own account, Feinstein was aware of the charge shortly after President Trump nominated Kavanaugh, nearly two months before her committee opened its hearings. She came into possession of the letter making the charge by virtue of her position on the Judiciary Committee. We don’t know what contact she had thereafter with the accuser or the accuser’s Democrat-activist Washington lawyer — but we do know that Feinstein kept the information from her Senate colleagues, ensuring it was untested and unmentioned in the committee’s hearings. This, even though the hearings were accompanied by loud complaints from Democrats that the administration’s document production was insufficient. Indeed, as this is being written, while yet another Judiciary Committee hearing has been scheduled, she still has not released the unredacted text of the letter that made the charge.

Her conduct has been condemned all across the political spectrum. Her hometown newspaper, the left-leaning Chronicle, editorialized that she chose “the worst possible course” in dealing with the charge. The Chronicle specifically noted that her treatment of the more than three-decade-old assault charge was “unfair to Feinstein’s colleagues — Democrats and Republicans alike — on the Senate Judiciary Committee.” Across the political aisle, her conduct was called “totally dishonest and dirty” in the pages of the Washington Examiner; the Wall Street Journal, more restrained, described her conduct as “highly irregular.”

In substance, she “deliberately misled and deceived” her fellow senators, with the “effect of impeding discovery of evidence” relevant to the performance of their constitutional duties. No one should know better than Feinstein herself that such deceptive and obstructive conduct, widely regarded as “unacceptable,” “fully deserves censure,” so that “future generations of Americans . . . know that such behavior is not only unacceptable but also bears grave consequences,” bringing “shame and dishonor” to the person guilty of it and to the office that person holds, who has “violated the trust of the American people.” These quoted words all come from the resolution of censure Feinstein herself introduced concerning President Bill Clinton’s behavior in connection with his sex scandal. She can hardly be heard to complain if she is held to the same standard.
