Where would you travel if money were not an issue?

I guess traveling is one of the greatest experience we could have as humans, I really enjoy traveling, just imagine the exotic places that exist all over the world and then imagine all the places that you could visit. All the places you could go! All the adventures you could have! Always you will find something new. It`s also a big challenge to communicate with people who don`t speak your language.
During June and July I visited Russia for the World Cup 2018 and Turkey. When I was planning my trip I thought 60 day were more than enough and at the end of my trip the time could`t allow to visit everything I wanted.
Sadly traveling is not cheap, at least for a Latino economy, that's why I ask to the bloggers... Where would you travel is money were not an issue? My answer is... I would travel to Thailand and if it is possible to some other Southeast Asian countries.

You should follow TRs blogs, you will feel like you are in the places with him.

For me, Peru, Iceland and Jordan are the top 3 places on my list.

I also want to go to Turkey; Rwanda and most other countries of the world
Mollybaby, Sure I will. The destinations you named are fantastic, I know Machupichu in Peru and it is fantastic!!!
I thought I would make it to Bolivia when I was in Chile.
But like you, I didn't have enough time.
I wanted to go to both the desert area of the north, and the frozen area of the south, as well as the central region. My time wasn't long flying by.
A week on the International Space Station would be the ultimate travel destination, I think. But if we're talking more terrestrial harbors I'm not sure there's anywhere that stands out for me more than any other. Just knowing the next day your still traveling is enough, so I guess if money were no issue it would be nice to know I'd be perpetually on the move - it wouldn't matter to where.
Nice to meet you Lindsy, I am not very often here but once in a while I read and comment the blogs.
Maybe because I’m Asian and was born and bred in Malaysia, Sourh-East Asia countries don’t really pique my interest....unless I go to there to visit friends.

At this stage, I’d rather go to any place where they are friends. That way, I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I get to meet them and explore the place at the same time.
Hello Tokyo, you make me rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
*unless I go there...* doh
For me it's not only the money but also health issues
Otherwise I'd travel to South America to the Andes.
First Peru..then maybe Ecuador and Columbia..and Bolivia.dunno
Mimi, since you have friends all over the world, you would never be short of somewhere to go bouquet
Hello Mimi Art, agree with you but don`t forget to mention the country you would want to visit!
Oppsss sorry!

Art and I are planning to visit France next year for the Women’s World Cup.

We’d probably go knocking on Biff’s door after that wink

And you Molly, do we need to book you in advance? grin
Molly

Maybe they should come and visit me for once!!! mumbling
Mimi, but of course snooty

I lead a very busy life, you know uh oh
Mimi, you love travelling, and experiencing different places.
If everybody came to you, you'd never get to explore the world
You are welcome Single.wave I have traveled mostly the world and so I agree with you. I choose where I go very carefully because of some restrictions we are imposed of being an American. But on my bucket list is the Amazon. That is one place I haven't been into. If you are asking for recommendation and depending on your interest, Greece, Egypt, stand out to be completely different just because of the historical value it holds. Thailand (Asia), is very similar to the rest of the South east Asian countries like the Philippines hence if you go to one of them,Singapore, Malaysia, for instance, there might be a slight difference but topography and weather is pretty much the same. Nepal is one heck of a place to go to. China is all to its own even if it is in Asia. Ok India is a world to its own too.

I would recommend Switzerland, if money were not an issue, then just travel the whole world. I would.

Yes, wouldn't it be nice if all people in the world can travel. Travel to me is the best way to learn about the world and who we are as human beings.

In that case, I’ll place my booking now....I promise to bring you one of these lovely woven bags by the women of Penans!

Embedded image from another site

Molly, when you have time, please Google the Penan tribe in Borneo?
Oooh Mimi, they sound fascinating !
They are, aren’t they? I met a few of them just the other day and listened to their plights.

Anyway, by buying these bags, we are helping them, their children and family. I bought a few for my friends and they loved it! Two of my girlfriends even gave me a kiss! blushing and I’m straight scold
Lindsy thanks a lot for your tips. I will consider the countries you mentioned!!!
Single, if you haven't been to the US yet, try to come, we are one heck of a very diversified country. Alaska to Hawaii, East Coast to Midwest to the West Coast, is a world that will offer you a glimpse of almost everything you can possibly find around the world. I have started my travel of my country alone since 60 days ago and I thought I have seen it all but every little town that I stop by now just amazes me more than my travel in Europe, Asia and or North America.

If money were not an issue, come to the US. You will have a ball.wave
Florida is much like in the tropics while DC is very different. But come and enjoy the rest of the other states Single.
Hello Daniela 777,
Yes, sometime problems of heath don`t allow us to travel, specially to Los Andes, very high mountains!
Exactamente! The altitude would kill me...and also the hours on the plane.

But..Machupichu would definitely be my first priority.smitten
Mind you..when I was in my 40s I used to ski in the Alps at 3000m altitude...and that was more than I could bear! doh
Bora bora just let me lie on the beach with warm sea for a few weeks. A bit of diving, no phones no grass growing just peace and quiet.
I think my first choices would be the Arctic, Antarctic, Amazon Basin or like places. Big cities or
crowded countries just do not interest me.

:
I've traveled all over the US for most of my life but I haven't crossed the pond yet. I would love to go to Greece, Santorini in particular and if money were no issue Holland.
Hello Emmy1,
Yes I heard about Bora Bora, a paradise on earth! I would like to go there too because I love beaches. So far the best I know are in Brazil, Playa Fuerte y Playa de Dunas in Cabo Frio, Arial do Cabo, Copacabana, Leblon and Ipanema.
It is a bit of a discovery Single. First it is in the middle of nowhere kind of a desert. Underneath it is a government station for nuclear activities. Sir Branson decided to base his billion dollars project there which is intended to cater for the wealthy. Pre paid tickets to go an live in space. Sustainable existence or quite sometime. I figured, that is the way of going away just in case this earth will crush into oblivion. Well being an ordinary person that I am, I believe I will just be here perish with the earth if it is the fate.

But other than that it is a well traveled road on the way to Las Vegas via High way 58. I used to live somewhere close to that area.
Too many places to mention......Paris, USA, Australia, NZ, Canada, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Maldives . I plan on travelling for the next two years getting away on public holidays and weekends. cheering
Mimi so long as you don't expect me to be able to discuss the Women's World Cup intelligently with you both you are so very welcome. hug

When I asked Google what cup women were competing for in France next year it suggested football. Was it right? dunno
Io and then Europa.

Maybe Neptune too.
Yes, Biff!

Art likes the US Women’s football team and would love to watch them in France next year.

As long as MiMi gets to visit Colmar, Provence and you, MiMi is a happy gal cheering
New. Zealand
Africa
Nepal.
New Zealand !!! grin
EVERYWHERE! ...

The Journey is the Destination.
