There is Always a Bright Side.

Maybe it is a blessing, if so I'm grateful to have an uncanny ability to find a bright side to the darkest of situations. Sometimes it is a curse when someone doesn't want to hear a bright side when they are dealing with agony. The trick is knowing when to keep my mouth shut.

Remind me of this ability if I don't blog it when or if I'm dealt a tragic hand.

Being strong and getting through bad stuff is a good thing.

Doesn't mean that you or anyone else with this ability doesn't have feelings if things go pear-shaped.

Wishing you and your folks a healthy and happy 2020. wine
Then again, there are times when that light at the end of a long tunnel is a train. Best for the new year, UF.
"Look at the bright side of life".....I just know that sooner or later someone is going to post a Monty Python video on this. Don't believe me?........Just wait and see. laugh

It's an excellent attitude to find the silver lining in clouds and to make a bad situation better, or at least get what one can out of the situation and at least use it as a learning experience.
Sometimes, things can be worse without that talent, and mistakes instead get compounded.

Of course, just make sure you are accepting reality, instead of fooling yourself into
expecting very unlikely outcomes;

My grand grand father pushed the wheel barrow of potatoes for his girlfriend that lived in next village, five hours away walking.
People laughed at him asking if he was not tired. He said - *yes, but it would be worse if the wheel fell off.*

I like his attitude.
I was not exceedingly fond of Jeb Bush when he was Governor of Florida. In a conversation with a big Jeb supporter I pointed out many of Jeb's shortcomings. My friend asked "Can't you say something positive about him?" I tried to look at the Bright side of Governor Jeb. Finally I came up with something. I said:

He is a lot smarter than his brother. innocent
