Dr Pepper with Creme Soda

While at the store thought I'd purchase a six pack of the pop just to see how it tasted so I bought some tonight to give it a try.It didn't taste to awfully bad.

Draegoneer,Ice cream doesn't sound like a bad idea.thumbs up
The first time I tasted Dr. Pepper was a year ago when I went to the Dr. Pepper museum.

Now that's all I buy (the chikita can for sure). laugh
Many years ago, maybe 30, someone began importing Dr Pepper. I tried it and thought it was a bland. I guess I was expecting it to taste more like cola or Creme Soda. I never bought another bottle. Apparently the rest of Australia agreed with my assessment and within 6 months it was no longer on the shelves - not anywhere I shopped anyway.
Tonight I bought and tried some Dr. Pepper and as I posted it didn't taste that bad.
Awww, Chat... You brought some memories back...
I could never try it... Smelled too bad... And I loved vanilla ice cream too much to "spoil it" that way... Jajajajajajajajajajja... wave bouquet
The only soda I drink, is in the summer, when I can find an all-natural root beer,
which nowadays is very rare. Snapple used to make a real good clear one.
I also used to be able to get a good one at Walgreens, but not anymore.
Whole Foods has an excellent all-natural root beer for $3 per 6 pack.

What a treat--no no not that awful pop grin but i had to go half way down the blogs to find one about pop and nothing else laugh laugh thumbs up well done you teddybear
I remember the first time my dad gleefully put a scoop of vanilla icecream into a glass of lemonade.

Quite apart from the fact that he rarely indulged in anything sweet, my sister and I thought he'd gone stark raving bonkers.

Some years later I learned that his big sister worked on the icecream/fizzy drinks counter in Woolworths when he was a little boy and she used to treat him to goodies.

I imagine his glee at his lemonade float in his 30's was more to do with the childhood memory than the actual concoction, but such was his joy in those times, he couldn't remember her full name after she died - she was 'Sis' and that's all that mattered.
A lime spider- lime flavour drink with a scoop of ice cream. Pretty nice on a hot day.

Dr Pepper is ok, nothing to write home to mum about. But its an OK drink.
Thank You all for replying to my former blog topic.I had a fun night last night with very bad lighting and all and lost power along with the rest of my neighborhood. But around 2:00 pm today they came back on now I'm living in hog heaven. Now I'm back online and back in business again.
We used to indulge in a really good orange soda with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Reminded of us of the old Dreamsicles. Yummm
I remember making spiders for customers that were made in a milkshake cup..I would think only an idiot would pay $5 for this.
