Ya think??

Lots of news stories this week and one pertains to the president harping about fraudulent ballots to an election that hasn't taken place. He states in rallies he's not going to stand for a loss. I've also seen comments indicating he won't agree to a peaceful transition and he's claiming the only way he could lose is the election is if the Democrats cheat.
This level of BS make me wonder... how is is possible those 'Democrats' will cheat?

In previous elections, it was tampering (or at least claims of tampering) with voting machines by outside sources. In the upcoming election, due to virus concerns, it's expected citizens will be voting by mail-in ballot. I've seen a few videos on the process of checking signatures and marking in the system that a vote was cast... thus avoiding chances of fraud. That would make the president's complaints unfounded.

Setting the stage for an election like a Banana Republic is what I see here. Forget that part about being American was living in a country where the people decided (by vote) their choice in a president. We have a president who wants to rewrite our system of voting.

Eric Trump seems to have summed it up nicely, that his father would concede the election 'if he got blown out of the water' by Biden.
My response was: Ya think??

So, it's cheating if the win is marginal and can only be accepted if it's a landslide.
Right, that's how I see it. The vote regardless of your party (or non-party) must be a landslide win for Biden or Trump won't accept it.

things would be different if the USPS was above error. it has been my unfortunate experience that my mail has often been misdelivered. i don't trust the USPS at all
An option to avoid the Post Office would be official ballot boxes that have security.
It would be easier for me to accept a landslide than a marginal win. What is going to happen when somewhere down the road more USPS trays of mail show up in ditches as they just found in Wisconsin? Those trays of mail did include ballots. It's hard to predict how many trays could change the election. I don't trust the mail in not just because of tampering but because of "accidentally" being lost somewhere.
Or one could just take the precautions necessary - mask, hand sanitizer or gloves and vote in person as was intended. Absentee voting is understandable. All of this mail in, early voting craziness has gotten out of hand.
Yep kp it is the Democrats and Democrats alone who have set the stage for chaos with their ridiculous unsolicited mail-in ballots push. Resultantly, the opportunity for election fraud is ripe. And of course they accuse Trump, when he brings attention to the mess they've brought about. Projection, always...
like i've said before, i never got politically involved until the world went upside down and wrong is played as right
the Demo tactic is gravely wrong. the un-voted are angry and frustrated and we want Trump
Election Day has become Election Month(s) and it's crazy.

Ah Jim that's a very generalized statement to make. Plus you have to look at the other side of the coin. I have seen many people flip the other way for Trump. In regards to age and race, my family is and has always been very diversified. We range from babies to those in their 80's. From Native American Indian to Finland to El Salvador to Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France and African American. My family is a melting pot. My sister voted for Hillary - this time Trump. I have a niece that just graduated from law school. She wants to focus on injustices - she's young and voting for Trump
I think people place too much importance on those "polls". As we saw in 2016 polls don't always know.
Yes kp, it is a generalized average statement, not pointed at any particular family.
Trump is planting the seeds of doubt...

If he lose the election he will say "i told you so."
