Manipulation of the system ? Ingenuity ? Brilliant
Yesterday a man in his 50's politely robbed a bank of $1 in South Carolina.Yes, you read that right.... $1.
He handed the bank teller a note saying that
"this is a bank robbery.."
He then requested "only $1" from the bank teller.
After taking the $1, he started to walk away, but returned to the teller to inform the bank teller that he would be "waiting for the police, right over there".
He then sat on a couch in the bank and did await for the police to arrest him. I am not making this up. I'll give you the link in a moment.
Is he insane ? Or crazy like a fox ?
Why would someone do this ? What could he possibly gain ?
Try healthcare. It seems that this man was out of work and thus, had no healthcare. His bank account was run down.
He also had some sort of growth on his chest and felt that
he needed to do something about it. Prisoners get healthcare.
Thus, he is now in custody....and getting medical attention.
The jail doctor complained that he is "manipulating the system"
I say good for him ! 'Necessity is the mother of invention'.
He's hoping that a 2 year stint in jail will give him all the necessary medical attention that he requires.
However, since the low amount ($1) of the robbery, the police could only charge him with larceny. Thus, it is likely that he will be out after 12 months, perhaps sooner on good behavior.
I'm predicting an upcoming wave of $1 bank robberies in the near future.
Isn't it time for a national healthcare solution ???
What's your feelings on this story ?

cant have health care.
Only f-up is that sometimes its queue's. Then only alternative then is fullprice at a priv hosp. In most cases though that is not needed, cos no que (hmm why that word has so many u's an e's..french?).
are ahead of the curve on this topic.
Here greedy doctors have the price run up through the roof.
As an example, my cousin just graduated as a physician's assistant. She's not a physician, just an assistant.
Her first job out of school = $134,000.
Good for her and all but it's ridiculous.
Now imagine how much the actual doctors make $$$.
Are they in the profession, because they want to help people, or because of the money ? I think their golf score tells the truth.
Here a dictor can expect sth like 100 000 $ a year, maybe up to 150.
Ok, that is too expensive.
Guess a doc have 200+ over there then.
Will think our sustem keeps the prices abit at bay since government is involved, but i can only speculate on that.
I would have commented on yours too.
T & M - thanks guys. But, i much prefer your good comments over any prizes.
