Been offered a boat ....

A boat has come onto the market & I reckon it's a bargain, £350,000, sounds a lot but I have a cunning plan banana

Ever since I developed inward-growing hair (where hair instead of growing outward on your head grows inwardly & finally in the later stages of the illness starts coming out of your ears, nose or anywhere but on your head) I've had an idea in the back of my mind, why not sell up & travel around the world to visit all my CS friends,

Being afflicted with inward growing hair may be a problem but could also be the solution confused I got my abacus out of the cupboard & did some calculations, with hair cuts at say £20 a time I can save over £100 a year there, then there's shampoo & other related grooming products so around £200 in total, just £349,800 left to find uh oh

help It's a disaster, just found out the boat is only available to rent, at £350,000 per week doh I won't get round the world in a week, any ideas dunno

why not come in a canoe its much cheaperlaugh
India, I'm told canoes are a bit unstable at sea, I want to make around the world in one piece if possible banana wave
Hi Zman,

I think I have found an alternative that might fit into your budget.

grin cheers handshake
I think you will be better off taking a plain to visit your CS friends... much cheaper at least... But don't stop dreaming your dreams Z. hug teddybear hug
Z haven`t you heard this before where there is will there is a way
Simmo, it was of course your fleet that gave me the idea, I like the sound of making it pay for itself but where would I live when it being rented out dunno wave
Cat, along with inward growing hair I also suffer from cowardice & extreme laziness yawn not sure your idea really fits the plan, would you volunteer to row dunno wave
Welela, I did think of that but as I'd be selling my home where would I live dunno wave
Just been offered this one, it's in budget but I'm not sure I have enough time to redo the paintwork etc wow laugh rolling on the floor laughing

Zman
I don't have a mountain villa like some I knowdoh
But I do have a humble abode that only houses myself, my dingo and my daughter's German Sheppard.
Of course
I am visited by my son to be 3 year old grand daughter most weekends and one a week during the week.
I'd be happy to share.
There is enough room for you to enjoy your own personal space. confused cheers
That's a shame, Z... I would have loved to have met you for coffee! wine Or wine! IF you do win Lotto in the next few years and change your plans, I believe I live close enough to Simmo that you can kill two birds with one stone.
Simmo, cheering thanks, that's one leg of the journey sorted banana wine
Abagail, perhaps we could persuade Simmo to take us out on one of his cruisers, have to be careful how much we drink as I'm not the worlds greatest swimmer doh laugh rolling on the floor laughing wine
I will bring Floaties for you, Z. (Swim aids, usually in bright yellow) grin
Hi there Abagail.
Happy to take you out on one of my cruisers zman.
But back to our partnership. Do we need a 3rd person or can we afford it Between ourselves.
Hello Simmo. Nice to see you again.

Wait, I had no idea I was entering into a potential business deal... Give me time to put myself in a different mode. You know, like a 'thinking' one. ( Geez, I thought I was over my working day)
Abagail, sounds like a plan, might bring a matching yellow ring as well just in case laugh rolling on the floor laughing laugh
Nice boat Z, don't ask me to finance it, but if you're ever around Ireland, lots of nice harbours and I'll be happy to meet you, Abagail and Simmo for coffee. wine
Simmo, got the shock of my life when I saw the price of boats like this, 50 million buys you something quite ordinary looking, might have to get Abagail to chip in as well dunno
KN, applause that'll be another leg of the journey & we mustn't leave Non & Mike out wine wave
Oh I think if you guys are going to travel to Australia, the least I can do is buy you matching rings. You know, I think they make the blow up ones with SpongeBob on them... So K and Z, if you guys make the trip, I will buy you the safety rings. grin
Oops, nearly forgot Princess Grace, be in even more trouble if I did that doh laugh wave
I must admit Zman
It puts my cruisers to shame. doh frustrated
Still one never makes money without taking a chance.
Hi Z, Non, Raven and me are from around the same area, the princess will have to travel a bit. wave
Thanks Abagail, I can swim, my rings are usually not yellow. wave
Oops again, forgot Raven as well doh not with it today, I blame it all on inward growing hair, before that started I had perfect eye-site & hearing, now I need glasses to read & more volume on the TV crying
I forgot Mike. doh

It can't be that bad, I have glasses for a long time, but no ingrown hair. dunno

I propose to sail somewhere to the Southern regions, still too cold, new shades of white to be seen here. uh oh How is the weather in Spain? cool
Simmo, your boats are great, who in their right mind would spend 50 million plus on a floating gin palace, I bet they only do about 50 feet to the gallon as well moping
K... I thought it might make a nice touch... going on holidays with the crew from the UK and returning with matching rings. sigh I guess I will have to think of other unique gifts for you all.
KN, it's not been great here either, not as bad as you've had it but not up to the usual standard mumbling It was better in January & February.
Abagail, what about those hats the lifeguards wear, that way when we fall in we'll be easier to spot laugh rolling on the floor laughing laugh
HI Abagail, I'm sure you can think of some nice presents for us all. grin

Leave a bit of room in your bag for gifts when you're in Ireland. bouquet

Hi Z, there must be some place where there is a bit of sun? moping

I'm usually not a fan of sun holidays, but I'm missing a bit of sun and warmth. gotta go
KN, well we have the sun but it's still in the low 20's & cool at night so the swimming pool doesn't look at all inviting, too chilly laugh rolling on the floor laughing laugh
Abagail, will we need to bring shark repentant confused dunno

No way, Z. All the sharks in Australia are friendly! Trust me. grin
Non, I'm not from Wales uh oh but I could dust off my old Wellington boots I suppose doh laugh rolling on the floor laughing wave
Bog, what a good idea thumbs up I've heard it said by a lady friend that our blogs are like a gentleman's club so it would be a home from home thumbs up laugh wave
reckon you'd man your own boat. So, i'd give you this little one for free. Low maintenance. Can hold 100kg max.

yes, we're 50kgs overloaded but it only capsized once and was retrieved in top form, in the middle of the sea, on that fateful day, with us 3 thrill seekers. uh oh
My respect of zmoun it is best of all to invite to itself on a visit. To have double benefit. Money keep, and guests will bring gifts.wave
