"The time has come"
"The time has come," the Walrus said,"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
My time on CS has been interesting to say the least. I have met a few people offline and often been surprised at the need to hide behind the profile. I won't say there haven't been a few bumps on my ride here, but I will say... it is, what it is!
Mike arrives in Australia today. If all goes well, he should be landing in Tullamarine tonight and we will start our life together. I laughed as I told friends that perhaps Mike was to blame for the abysmal weather here over the last few days, but it seems on the day of his arrival, for the moment at least... the weather is now calm.
I want to thank the few individuals that I have been on friendly terms with here for making it just a wee bit more interesting for me to visit these pages. I want to also thank those I passed by and waved to, for imparting a new experience my way.
Once Mike arrives safely and he is safely ensconced in my home, I believe that is my cue to exit left. This is, after all, a dating site. There are many people I could thank by name, but ... Z stands out. He was always willing to impart his knowledge, with such wit and aplomb. KNenagh... who reflected my own thoughts so many times. She has grace, which is a rare commodity in this world. Brannigan from the forums, simply for making me smile. And there was also Delatude, who is truly a gentleman. I could list several others, but I am sure you are aware of your wonderful traits and don't need to have me detail them here.
... so before tonight is out, I will know if Australian Immigration has let Mike slip in ... and then it's my time to slip away.
