United. Excellent.
Django, the Iraq war dog, reunited with SA handler after two yearsWorking side-by-side for 18 months, the two became inseparable and when Holland finished his contract with the AMK9 unit, he promised his furry friend that he would one day live with him in South Africa.
I love it.

The second he was released from his leash, Django sprinted towards Holland.
There was no doubt that he remembered exactly who Holland was.
This after 2 years.
I totally love it

Here are the 2 main players in our house hold at the present time. The JR is hyper active and never gives Nugget(Ridge-back) a breather. They are a good combination.
Here is the intended pic.

Just chatted to a SA friend who now lives in Canada and was amazed how many SA guys are living there permanently. Sacanada interesting forum.
Tons of South Africans in Vancouver, my BFF moved there 25 years ago and the climate is better than Scotland, they're very happy there.
Before they got there, they were told a story about how many Safricans there were in Vancouver: back in the days when the NP were still in power and the ANC was a banned organisation, the wife of the SA ambassador in Canada used to bake Safrican goodies to sell and once received a huge order for koeksusters, she baked and baked and arrived to deliver the 20 dozen - to find the event was an ANC rally. Oops!
Hey, like she cared. Money is money, in politics as everywhere else.
Canada is a place where many call home...it may be cold in the winter (Vancouver being the exception) but summer for most places is hot...no idea where some get the impression that many spend the days inside...
Most of the population is on the fringe of the border to US...Vancouver being the mildest places (for weather) in Canada...
I haven't spoken to him in a couple of months so don't know how summer is there.
He had a very bad winter for having to take the bus to go to night school as well. He even battled to get groceries and the shop was not far away.
