It's THAT time of year again.

yes the Simmo blog awards, unfortunately Simmo can't be here to present the awards in person

but I know it was something he looked forward to doing each year, even if they were often deleted by the mods

with that in mind the format will be slightly different this year

Split into two sections, firstly the awards where the result is already known, then I would ask you to vote on the second section.

The award for the most commented blog 2015 -
In second place Namaron with "SONGS"..("NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN") with 255 comments

In first place with 289 comments "My First Impression Of CS Male Bloggers" by Crazyheart38

The Connecting Singles connecting bloggers award, whilst I know several blogger got "connected" this year

most kept it a closely guarded secret

however as far as I know ( and do dive in if I'm wrong here) the only two who actually got married this year were Teddy & Jenny

CS Blogger with the most fans, in second place with 21 Itchywitch

And in first place with 54 Usha123

As of today most blogs posted award, in second place JimNastics with a total of 801

And in first place with 858 blogs & 16441 vids it's Jarred1

Now it's time to put finger to keyboard & vote for your blogger of the year 2015, doesn't need to be a reason but probably the blogger you most look forward to seeing on the list of new blogs, or you find most informative, funny perhaps or even whom you most look forward to getting a comment from on your blog

)

Finally may I wish you all a Merry Christmas (for believers) Xmas (for non believers) Crimble ( for those that don't care

I do not have a best or worst person

Just people I love to spend some time with.

Seems to me, that is, that people fight over

how many blogs

how many replies etc

that has deflated me somewhat on this joy is day.

I have had my walk and was just about to open my bucs fiz and tried to put pic of full moon on here for Ccincy but computer is not working the same pic wont upload

and now this awards thingy oh dear me cs is changing into competition

Redex, although I think we humans are naturally a pretty competitive bunch I don't really see blogging as competitive, take most commented, as that seems to be the most contentious

is it not the case that the blog with the most comments provided the best "entertainment" for us the readers

is that not what it's all about

would you not agree that an author who publishes a best seller is not in a competition but does the best they can to enthral the readers

Redex, "gorgeous evasive man" just adding that to my CV

I don't think we're in that much disagreement, Simmo was always quick to spot those here for "the competition" & dealt with them in his own unique way, that's why his award blogs often got deleted

Like Molly, I don't post blogs either. I did when I initially came on to the site, but man, it needs attention.....and I'm kinda distracted IRL....so can't devote the time necessary.

Bloggers I enjoy are varied....too numerous to mention really. Some I stay well clear of...

Biff, CH, Red, Cat always seem to have a message in their blogs which is what draws me in....depends on the topic too.

Hi Zee, Its good to hear the great man (Simmos) name mentioned once again.
Although I dont blog much myself, but comment occasionally...I do read most of what is on show.
To be honest though I am afraid the standard of blog leaves a lot to be desired at the moment...

...I suppose thats the way it goes with most things...in cycles!
I have not seen any stand out blogger this year Z so It would be unfair for me to pick one

..
There are however still some

decent kindhearted people here which is good to see.
So , just to say Cheers

Merry Christmas to all and I enthusiastically support most of the nominations so far. I would like to add a particular favourite for the comments award, the lovely mischievous DreamCatcher.

Do you need votes or will you take the list to the polls when you have it complete? No surprise who I think is the winner on the female side

against tough competition. Not so easy on the male side but my three top choices have been nominated already.

I remember Simmo from my time here before - good man.
