I agree to a point. Maybe because people don't find what they want and start moving on. We have recently lost some of our better bloggers because they lost interest in the blogs that were being written.
I think some are taking a break and some others just like to announce that hey are leaving...then they come back!!
I blog when there is a topic I want to share but sometimes just like to read the various blogs and comment...
I don't post on the forums but I read them occasionally. If there is one thing that is constant....it is change!
I agree with what you are saying. We see it all of the time. People take some time off and then return. Thanks for your observation!

Both take a lot of your time and energy if you are in to it with a strong attention.
For me to concentrate on both,is to much and when I had in my mind to come back to CS,I quit from FB 12 days before and I know,that if (when) I go back to FB,I quit from CS and I did not tell in FB,that I'm going to quit....I only told one friend some weeks before,that I was tired to be there.
I'm not surprised at all,if many other here on Blog Land are following something similar.
An other thing is,that Blog Land is more peaceful in this moment,than before,what could make a feeling that the Blogs are Dying,but in my opinion here are still some thoughtful good Blogs,that make sense,even there are some senseless as well,as always.

You are right. Weather is changing a lot around the world and people are maybe getting out more.
Yeah, for the most part, the blogs have toned down. I like it peaceful!
Is there trouble maker in blog land that have made some bloggers decided to get out or got banned ?
But ya, agree to some comments...it was vibrant...about 6+ years ago.

We are definitely seeing less blogs than before. Three or four years ago a blog never stayed on page 1 for longer than twenty four hours. Some days they did not last 12 hours. Now lately they often stay for two days.
But it is not just the blogs. The polls are very slow as well.
