My dog was extremely emphatic about it. She'd rather have cold feet. Rather even grit in her paws.It's the eve of Christmas Eve and four, count 'em, FOUR days before I have to go back to work, whoop whoop WHOOP

My dog looks like an all-in wrestler but is in reality a dainty princess with very fine skin, she doesn't love wearing a jacket but if the weather is cold enough she will graciously shrug in one.
(If she doesn't think it cold enough, the all-in wrestler comes into play. It would be as easy to nail blancmange to a wall. Always her choice.)
Unless I can find feathered mules with kitty heels, though, I doubt I would ever persuade her into shoes

I had a dog some time ago, he was a yellow or white Labrador. He could actually talk. I wrote a short story about him on the blogs in the past. Anyways, I don't know if he did it on purpose, but when he wanted to get even with me for yelling at him or something, he would go run around in the mud, then come jump up, and put his muddy paws on my brand new or just laundered pants and shirt. DARN IT!
Maybe I should have bought him some rubber boots.

Instead she has a line in reproachful stares which makes me really uncomfortable at times. Especially walkies times. Storm Barbara is trying to lift the house off its foundations, and the dog wants to WALK???
