A better state of humanity

With the growing population of our planet and with all the volatile political climate our world is going through, would anyone think, or feel or hope that a better state of humanity is possible?

Can man as a whole ever achieve what is perfect? Or is it too much to ask and therefore impossible to attain? Therefore settle with the acceptance that it is a matter of luck if and when we are not afflicted with all these current illness and challenges mankind is experiencing specially at this time and age? In example war, poverty and terrorism?

Note: I am lucky, I feel blessed and thankful, I live in a better country compared to the rest of the world. What I mean better is the fact that I have freedom, I can work as hard as I can and gets paid for my worth. I have a decent health insurance and respect is predominantly the norm than the exception.

I wish that all of the 80 percent of the world who lives in poverty and missing out on what freedom and opportunity provides, would have a chance to live as the first and second world do. I really do.

The question is: who's fault is it that there are more poor people in the world than not? The better question is, how can we achieve to eliminate economic inequality?

We all have a dream, ambitions, aspirations and hopes. I know deep in my heart as a mother, I would wish for all my children to have a better life than that of what I have. I have of course, advised them that it takes discipline and firm determination to focus on what it is that makes their life's better. They all have that drive but I can see, it seems the once booming opportunity that used to be abundant is getting more difficult and strained. Choices are getting more scarce and no matter how much they try it seems harder to get to where they want to be. Why is that? That is my question that is puzzling me at the moment.

Was I just lucky that I belong to the baby boomer time?
Lj I think its everyone's fault, ours and the government's, we should not have children going without anything. And our world would be better if we treated each better..hug
My thanks for your comment.

I was reading the comparative study if the different stages of our societies segment My, it seems the trend today in terms of social structure in relation to technology, ways if life us very crippling. Yet the numbers if millionaires and billionaires has never been this high.

But for the same reason out if 7 billion the 80 percent is very consistent. Why is that?

The World ...From The Beginning....Has Been This Way
Think About It For A Second
Mankind Has Been Wondering About This Situation... From The Very Beginning...In One Form Or Another

First Reason....Over Population
At The Same Time..In The Poverished Nations...They Keep Having Babies...And A Lot Of Them
And..Of Course These Babies Need To Be Fed... Clothed.... And Taken Care Of
Yet..They Cannot Afford To Even Properly Rear Up The Children They Have...Yet..They Keep Producing More Needy Mouths
That To Me...Is Just "One" of The Reasons For Poverty....... As It Is Today

Another Reason?...........Greed...Thievery
Though A Country May Send Aid to Another Country...Food Medicine..Clothes..Shelters..And Money For Other Needs
A Lot Of The Time..These Aid Packages Never Make It To Those It Was Intended For
Instead ...It Ends Up In The Pockets Of The Greedy Officials..In The Very Same Country ....The Aid Was Sent To

Im Sure There Are Many Other Reasons.... As to Why...Also
The World Is How It Is Up To Today....................................................detective
Nam, my brother, should we then, at least make an effort to cut down on baby production?

I agree with you. My birth country, the Philippines, at one time, the more children a couple has, the more help they get, the problem is, like you said, rearing them is a challenge.

On greed and thievery, any solution?
I see the only way we could have a better world is to rid it of ALL the greed and hate.

I see the world as being slowly but surely being destroyed little by little.
CC, I can feel your sentiments. Little by little its getting worse.sad flower

Thanks for your opinion CC.sad flower
And yes CC. Exactly, I am sure that is the real challenge. To rid of all greed and hate.

I was just reading from another blog about the cause and effect which of course is a very factual phenomenon and or practice. The question therefore is why is there greed and why is there hate?
Actually Miss Lindsy
Everybody Uses That Same Old Term
"A Better World"

But When We Get... Right Down To It
It Isnt About A..... "Bettter World"

This Is Just A Place..........A Place With A Name We Gave It..............."World"
"The World"...........Allows Us One Thing...And One Thing Only................ The Room For Existence

Id Say That Miss Cincy Got It Right On When She Got Across Some Of The True Reasons

Its The Greed And The Hate..(Among A Slew Of Other Reasons)
That Makes It The Situation.................. It Is Today

Maybe...................Instead Of The Title Being............................."A Better World"
Might We..................................... Change The Title To

"A Better Human Race"....................................................detective
Now that is exactly what I had in mind Nam when I thought of this blog. A better humanity.

So let me change the title to a better description of what I truly had in mind.

We're all Blessed through God's Economy by loving one another.God bless you Lindsey.
Our Poetry friends have openly shared this, let's keep the faith,on blogs too!

And yes Patti, may God most loving and generous, who doesn't teach us to kill others bless all humanity, believers or not.
Hello Everyone, wave
Hi LJ hug
Some very interesting reading on this blog...

I can only dream and speak of that dream when it comes to such matters conversing

Its amazing what can be achieved by saying.
"I have a dream"

Patti, I don't mind eliminating any organization that doesn't make our humanity better, including religion.

However, religions of the likes of Hindus, Monks and even Christianity today, are not advocating to kill.

They have more records to show love and compassion that I know of in the past 100 years. We can do it.
Non, thanks for your comments.

Yes indeed, how encouraging to move on in our lives amidst these turmoils and terrors, simply by having the light of hope inside of you and by saying: "I have a dream"

However, dreams don't do us any good if none of our dreams do get realized.

We have to have a concerted and collective effort, not you, nor me, nor our neighbors alone can do this. It has to start from us, but ultimately everyone must participate.

I believe that is the key to have our dreams come true.

Hi, the interesting blog thank you that has shared.

With your permission I want to add several lines.
Life poor frightens people.
Not everyone poverty was bit more than once.
The wealth to a shower corrupts.
Poverty of suffering produces.
As often money cripples us.
Temptations of life - not to consider them.
It is necessary to remember, the wealth won't cure
Neither our Soul and nor honor.hug
Thank you beautiful lady, nice to see you and that's a very lovely flower albeit it represents sadness and sorrow. bouquet
ps.. I love you..
"Cause I'm gonna love you
Forever and ever
Forever and ever
Forever and ever

Forever and ever"

There is no poverty

Thanks for those wonderful lines Umka.bouquet
Just an afterthought [I promise to make it short]. I have noticed that people living in poverty, are usually very family orientated, and seem to have some type of spirituality that makes them extremely happy with their lot.

This isnot to say it's Ok to allow our fellow humans live in these conditions....

But the gentleman blogger who said there is no poverty in love [words to that effect] is right, These people share what little they have with their neighbours, and seem less isolated than the wealthy and educated nuclear age people who live in apartments, in luxury but who suffer great loneliness because of the way society has become.sad flower
Jim thanks for all those loves. wave
That's the truth GG. Somehow it makes family very strongly connected. hug
Humanity is still evolving. Lot of people are still plagued by traits that our ancestors needed to survive but these days, just makes the world a less pleasant place to live. It will take generations before we start to see any progress.
Thanks Track. wave
