I have an old Samsung notebook running Windows 8 with 4g LTE wireless service. My plan was to take that with me on my vacation. After charging the battery, it worked for a few seconds then stopped working. Dead is a good description. Shopping for a replacement, I found another Samsung product that supports 5G. Unfortunately, none of the stores within 50 miles have stock. I can get it directly from T- Mobile but they cannot guarantee next day shipping in time, so I'm having it sent to my brother's house and I'll set it up to work there.

Currently, there is a subtropical storm due east of Florida that has a forecast to head west and become a hurricane on Wednesday as it crosses the Bahamas. By Wednesday night, it will be directly over Florida's east coast around the Palm Beach area and guarantee my vacation plans to leave on Thursday will need to be rescheduled.

I've never lost my car in a parking lot... with the exception of it being towed once. So... it technically, it wasn't lost. I parked in a plaza and walked across the street to meet a client who was moving to a high-rise on Miami Beach. The plan was to go to lunch in one of the restaurants at the plaza. On my return my car was gone. I'm told the vendors get a commission when they turn people in as they use the free parking to avoid paying for valet parking.
It was business and my boss reimbursed me. He came to drive me to the yard where towed vehicles are held as hostage. Explaining them the situation of meeting someone to return to eat did no good. It was $100 to get my car back. Bastards...

13 years ago...I was at an all time high, I suppose you could say.. ....just looking at an old blog of mine from 2016 where I had lost about 80lbs or so since 2009 ...and since then, I have just put it in the back of my mind until I did some looking back and now it's like 13 years later and I'm still keeping it off...surprised myself Progress is progress, though. I know I'll never be thin....but I'm happy where I'm at and at 50 now, I can't complain
