Just wondering.....

...if the real reason for the multiple deep hate repeat witch hunts for our brilliant President Trump are frantically driven by more than severe full syndrome TDS or by his successes, in spite of his often crude style--- beginning with the soreprise mandate win against Hilary. The SCOTUS is already well poised to reverse Roe v. Wade, sending decisions on clinical fetus murder (CFM) back to individual states. The radical female ueber left wacko fringe of "progressives" holds CFM above all else in God's universe. Justice Ginsberg is long for neither SCOTUS, nor life itself, and replacing her with someone against CFM TRUMPS everything else for these women. Impeach and convict, and CFM is less threatened. Just wondering. Justice Amy Barrett, a shoe in, ---decent, mom of 5, record on the bench for all to see, catholic, and probably will support only limited, clinically sanctioned CFM, andd so much more.. Not merely for the slothful at contraception. Can't wait for the hearings. should be a hoot, watching the lefties squirm around her.

Indian health system overwhelmed

Covid has its grip on India . News item on our radio saying that the Indian hospitals are out of oxygen . Victims were two per bed in some places .
With the new variants it will soon become clear if the vaccines will protect victims against all variants , or one for that matter . 2 or 3 of our front line workers have caught covid after being vaccinated , not enough to get a clear picture to see if any worthwhile protection can be gained by vaccination . Thankfully , I'd rather not know than have alot of NZ's infected to prove a point .

china has offered help , best thing they could do is nuke themselves

Salt cave.Egypt.

An amazing cave whose walls, ceiling, floor, and everything in it are made of rock salt... for healing and getting rid of negative energy. It is very useful for respiratory diseases as well. Amazing experience. You can find it in Siwa Oasis, Marsa Matrouh city and Cairo in Egypt
I recommend it For medical tourism

Health is a everlasting topic.

I have done better in my health. Even a small issue, but indeed a big trouble. i have been taking the bitterest herbs. I could never forget the taste. I cooked some pears tea, with Gochee, chrysanthimum, and some Guiyuan ,similar as \lychee,some ginseng, and \i chopped some apple in. I have very good taste fruit tea. As \i am taking herbs, so \i could not drink tea. So \i make the fruit tea instead.

I saw some cherries the other day, just didn't bother to buy,but today when i went there, they don't have cherries anymore.

I again did a bit exercises. NOw it is hot in emirates, so I sweat all over.i do enjoy being able to do exercises. I want to be lazy,so I try to make myself exercise.

DIY Ventilators...

I've done a few blogs about medical ventilators and my research continues. Trying to find a listed price for one is like getting a quote on a used car. They want your information before making an offer. Lots of models and lots of options. I did see a wide range for new premium machines listed in the range of $25,000 to $50,000.

The purpose of a ventilator is to pump oxygen/air into the patients lungs where they are unable to do it on their own. Typically, in the case of pneumonia, the air sacs (alvelous) are swollen, filled with fluids and unable to remove carbon dioxide and exchange with oxygen.

Bring on the tube... Intubation is a standard procedure where a tube is place down the throat into the esophagus. The patient is sedated under general anesthesia and given a muscle relaxer.

All procedures have risks. hear that? ALL PROCEDURES HAVE RISKS!!
When air is forced into fluid filled lungs there is damage to the air sacs and soft tissues of the lungs. In the case of respiratory virus that plays a part of the damage, more damage occurs from pneumonia and additional damage is caused by the ventilator.

Part of the ventilators function is to monitor pressure, oxygen & carbon dioxide exchange, breathing rate, temperature. I cringed hearing that GM is slated to make ventilators. I cringed again when Tesla got into ventilator prototyping using the control computer from the model 3. They are going against companies who have been making and refining dedicated medical products for many years. Ventilator start-up ventures could have disastrous results.

The story I read today takes the prize.
Mississippi doctor uses garden hose, lamp timer and electronic valve to create makeshift ventilators

I won't go into too much detail, but a pediatric anesthesiologist Dr. Charles Robertson from the University of Mississippi Medical Center has made a ventilator with supplies from a hardware store.
Less than $100 using a garden hose, lamp timer and electronic valve, he can build a ventilator in 20 to 30 minutes!

According to the doctor "The brain behind the thing is actually a lamp timer"

Most of the reviews have been positive, but I can't get around that no one mentioned (or did they forget) anything used in a hospital needs to have FDA approval.

Me thinks the doctor's been watching too many episodes of MacGyver.

I actually found a Chinese based medical equipment company who produce ICU ventilators at a rate of 300 per year and can get one out to you in 10 days after payment.

This must be similar to the $25,000 model.

Dandruff...

I did some traveling this past weekend that involved airports with interconnecting flights, museums and sporting events. I passed through Atlanta, Georgia and much of my vacation was in Ohio. Dayton and a day in Columbus.

I noticed people... lots of people.

While the weather was very good (by any standard) we had a little drizzle rain and cool temperatures the first few days then amazing sunny, clear that went from freezing in the early morning to mid 60's (Fahrenheit) in the afternoon. I wore a long-sleeve polo with a jeans jacket and never felt cold. We went to a high-school soccer game on a cold night and those kids were in normal long sleeved pullovers with no additional coats. The spectators mostly had winter coats

It's safe to say that in cold climates, people tend to shower less often than people in hot climates. Fortunately, I didn't get a whiff of someone who's 38 hour antibacterial soap quit working. I did see something unexpected... lots of guys with dandruff. It shows up on dark clothing.

Up until this trip, I would have thought dandruff would have faded away like leprosy, where you've only heard stories and seen photos, but never had a close encounter with a leper.

Treatments for dandruff are everywhere. It's in shampoos, topical liquids... Listerine mouthwash is said to cure dandruff. So, there's no excuse.
