1 Year 4 Months Later

Since originally being diagnosed with diabetes, my lifestyle changed including my eating habits. 52 lbs lost, actual real definition in my face and body for the first time in my life, a thigh gap for the first time in my life, much lighter on my feet, feeling way better overall.

Who would have ever thought that diabetes would turn out to be so awesome wine

Testosterone vs Estrogen

Guys lose testosterone, women lose estrogen as we all get older. Seems like we're all fighting to keep our manhood/womanhood intact. I think it's more harder on the women after they start losing their estrogen along the way than it is for us men when we start losing our testosterone. One con is menopause when a woman loses estrogen. Another con, women start developing a little bit of facial hair. One of the pros for estrogen is I feel like it's a beauty hormone. One reason why guys age gracefully than women for the most part. A lot of women as they age seem to not be able to pull off longer hair as they once had, but there are some that still can. As for guys, one con is we lose a lot of our energy levels when we lose our testosterone, along with putting on weight. thumbs down I also believe that too much testosterone when one is younger can possibly lead to hair loss, but it's also true that genetics plays a roll in it as well.

I was surprised to learn that girls around 10 years old have more testosterone than boys their age starting out. After 13 or 14, boys start developing more testosterone than the girls at the same age, and then testosterone levels of boys really take off after that.

Girls seem to run high in my family, like every 15 years, we'll have a male born in the family. Not too often. I have one child, a daughter, so could it be the "X" factor and too much estrogen in the family? Could be, I'm blessed with a lot of hair. rolling on the floor laughing

My question to both genders on here is, as you're getting older, are you taking testosterone/estrogen pills, or plan to, or just don't care, let the chips fall where they may?

What's your opinion on this topic? Please share...

LVNV murderer.....

No using his name as he would like us all to do so. Every one is scrambling to find explanatory dirt on this crumb, focusing on Mental Health. Dead ends all around---substance abuse, family, trauma, recent loss, and so on. But lots of folks can present with high functioning lifestyles, while resentment/confusion simmer deep down. Two common sources of this predominate. Of course, some can have undiagnosed (even not yet categorized) genetic or environmental syndromes, which may have few physical or functional signs, and well hidden behavioral/emotional issues. Then there are those who experienced severe early childhood mistreatment. In both cases, there is the issue of resilience, whereby some so afflicted carry on with only minor challenges. And intelligence, which can provide enormous chances at apparent daily adaptability. The numbers of such potential time bombs isn't known, but few make it into the MH system for identification and diagnosis/help. And the best shrinks could spend hours with such types, and be clueless. But in the right hands, detailed neuropsychological testing can help. The squeaky wheel, people. Aa.

Who is the actual leader of the free world

On Wednesday, he concluded remarks in honor of labor unions by saying he was "supposed to stop and walk out of the room" but decided to stick around anyway.

Biden has also said, "I’m not supposed to take any questions," admitted he was "instructed" to call on specific reporters, declared "they gave me a list of people I’m going to call on," told reporters he would "get in trouble" if he didn’t follow orders and even said, "I'd be happy to take questions if that's what I'm supposed to do
."

Why are we not told who's running the show . Biden has said more than once he's not allowed to answer questions . Is it Milley , is it Wray , could it be his wife . Pretty damn sick when the president says he can get into trouble for answering questions . Do they spank him , threaten to not change his diaper ? No more ice cream for you Joe if you blab any answers out today .

A virus that kills cancer...

Clinical trials have begun on the virus Vaxinia that is said to kill cancer.
According to a Yahoo story:
"The virus itself has been engineered specifically to kill cancer cells. And, in previous animal trials, scientists have seen very promising results. These kinds of viruses have been a “smoking gun” in the fight against cancer for over a century."

This could be a future topic of discussion should test prove positive.

Arizona now has two governors...

As of this morning, the state of Arizona now has two governors. Katie Hobbs who won the election and was sworn in January 2nd, 2023 and Kari Lake who professed a win before all the ballots were counted, disputed the outcome and filed suit only to be thrown out of court by the judge, filed an appeal and now has declared herself "The duly elected governor"
Other than becoming the laughingstock of politics, I'm wondering how she expects to be paid for this self-appointed new position.

Oh, this woman wields such power!
