The white helmets have been strewn across the media over the past few years, saving children in war torn Syria, they claim to be the Syrian civil defense force on their websites, when in fact they are not.

The filming of them by a professional cameraa team, has sparked a lot of controversy. Two members of the controversial White Helmets organization that operates in Syria have been barred from attending the Academy Awards, the producer of a documentary featuring the NGO said. The film has been nominated for an Oscar.

“They’ve been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize,” she said. “These people are the bravest humanitarians on the planet, and the idea that they could not be able to come with us and enjoy that success is just abhorrent.”

The travel ban for seven predominantly Muslim countries imposed by US President Donald Trump last week also affected acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, whose film The Salesman is nominated in the Foreign Language category, and Syrian woman Hala Kamil, the subject of Watani: My Homeland, another nomination for the short documentary award.

This is not the first time Saleh has been banned from entering the United States. In April 2016, he had to return to Istanbul after discovering that his visa had been cancelled by the US. This prevented him from receiving an award in Washington at a gala party supported by White Helmets sponsor USAID.

The White Helmets, who also call themselves the Syrian Civil Defense, have been touted as a non-political aid organization focused on saving lives in war-torn Syria. The Oscar-nominated documentary depicts them in line with that narrative.

Critics say it is a foreign-funded propaganda vehicle closely aligned with Islamist militant groups opposing the Syrian government. Members of the group have been accused of stealing vehicles, rescue equipment, and its very name from the government-run Syrian Civil Defense, an organization with a decades-long record of rescue operations in Syria.

‘Bikers For Trump’ Group Shoots Down Reports From Right-Wing Sites That They Are Heading to Seattle’s ‘Chaz’ Area

President Donald Trump’s most fanatic motorcycle-admiring fans, “Bikers For Trump,” aren’t pleased with recent headlines from by right-wing news outlets claiming the organization is heading to break through the barricades in Seattle’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.

The organization in a statement to Mediaite claimed such stories from the sites, including The Gateway Pundit and Big Leauge Politics, are nothing more than “fake news.”

The right-wing outlet Big League Politics went as far as to write on Saturday, “A group of self-styled ‘Bikers for Trump’ is pledging to retake Seattle’s Capital Hill Autonomous Zone for the United States, planning on dismantling the anarchist commune on the Fourth of July.”

As for The Gateway Pundit, the site linked to a Facebook event touting bikers will “simply going to tear down the illegal barriers,” around “CHAZ.”

The Pundit’s headline touted, “Initial Reports: Bikers for Trump and Other Groups Planning to Retake Seattle Occupation Zone on July 4th.”

Yet, neither outlet reached out to the Bikers for Trump for a comment on the matter, and instead, it appears the story idea was pulled from a tweet on Twitter that has since been deleted.

Asked if either outlet reached out for comment before heading to print with the stories, a Bikers For Trump spokesperson said, “Nope, only you.”

“The fake news story saying that Bikers For Trump are riding with the Oathkeepers and other motorcycle groups into Seattle is Fake News and spreading out of control,” a spokesperson for Bikers for Trump told Mediaite.

“We, Bikers For Trump, are not involved in any way, shape, or form with this fake story,” the spokesperson continued to Mediaite. “Bikers For Trump is a peaceful political movement, not a motorcycle club.”

The representative declined to comment on the fact it was right-wing outlets spreading this “Fake news.” Bikers for Trump founder Chris Cox didn’t return a request for comment from Mediaite.

Apparently there are fishing trawlers in the North sea occupied by Russian spies who are mapping the energy supplies to UK. Wind farms etc. No doubt they are planning some kind of cyber attack as part of their revenge for the sanctions on Russia. The government is aware of this and so it will be interesting to see how the situation developes.

Maybe this is the place to get it started. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been keeping an eye on current events for quite some time now and I, for one, have had enough!

Since 9/11, I have watched this country, one of the strongest, if not the strongest country in the world, cave in upon itself and all but fall apart. Whether anyone wants to believe it, when the Twin Towers got hit on that day, the terrorists won the first battle of the so called War on Terrorism. The US government, and particularly the state government of New York ran for cover and turned so paranoid that Americas started to become the laughingstock of the rest of the world.

New York started making everybody jump through hoops by implementing the toughest standards possible in order for people to get a driver's license...even with a valid license from another state. The federal government came up with the Patriot Act, the DHS and excessive background checks for truck drivers to be able to haul hazardous materials...just those things alone made it so millions of Americans have had to jump through all kinds of hoops to do things we've always been doing.

And now, thirteen years later, look at the state of things. We have been blessed with virtually unlimited domestic spying by the NSA, all the new DHS spying centers that have been built all over the country, new requests for private information by both the FBI and the Secret Service. We've been victimized by the Obama administration in a blatant government takeover of our healthcare system, a president who violates his oath of office and ignores the separation of powers that have been part of our constitution since its ratification over two hundred years ago, and we are just sitting here watching it all happen...

I have been doing everything I can for months to fight and make some kind of difference. I have been giving my representatives as much hell as possible, I have been directly challenging Barack Obama to come forward and face the people, through the White House on Twitter. I have been sharing news stories on my facebook account, trying to wake people up.

You know what really amazes me? I have been doing all this stuff, spreading the word as much as I can, telling people that we need to get off our asses and do something, and even with the proliferation of stories about all this misconduct, all this caving in to the North Koreans, all this hemming and hawing around about ISIS and the failure of DHS to secure our borders, all of the scandals that have surfaced since Obama took office, all I have seen is token resistance to anything...no outrage anywhere. It's like we have become a nation filled with sheep and cowards. It's like we are just sitting around waiting for this once great nation to cave in on itself and die.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I am not going to go down without a fight...and I am going to tell you folks that it is way past time to stand up and do something about getting our rights and freedoms back. Now it is time for the rest of you to decide...are you going to go out without a fight, or are you going to stand up and become real Americans again? You have a choice...those of you who are as sick and tired of it as I am, let's get it together and get started because we have a hell of a battle to fight. The rest of you who just want to cave and let it all fall apart...get lost. We don't need you!
