Britain prepares for possible war with North Korea

I just read it from New York Post today.

It's interesting, under what motives is my question.

As a support to the USA? Or more like to show case their military power?

Any opinions?

President Trump and Jerusalem.

Still so glad he's our guy, considering the disasters of an unhealthy/untruthful/hubby in tow Hilary or Crazy Bernie. But while I'd personally like him to tweet less, and get coaching on some of his comments before he makes them, there isn't much he is doing that I disagree with. Till now. Apart from poor timing, and using his member of the Tribe son-in-law as the go to man on Palestine, moving our diplomats to Jerusalen is an error times two. First, Israel's Apartheid history is one of getting an inch, and taking a light year. Just look at the Tewowist Yishuv, the wall and "settlements", not to mention the probable styles and behaviors that led to millennia of persecution, ending with near erradication by Europe's priemier culture. Nuff said. But moreso, Jerusalem shouldn't be "owned" by any one or two states. A real just and lasting peace would somehow recognize that the Holy City belongs to all of us, to the world at large. For visiting, study and worship. Primary administration by the much more effective and less corruptable Jews, in conjunction with rotating large power military overseers, to keep the funny business to a minimum, perhaps---but an independent/international city nevertheless. It's clear that President Trump by this latest action will move things from decades of inertia. Good move in a real estate environment. But not in Palestine. BTW, nice place then to relocate the UN to. JACTESS.org. Salaam-shalom, Aa-VKH.

New Sheriff in town

Is Trump's "New Sheriff in Town" persona/behavior going to isolate the U.S. from the rest of the world?

With the threatening of stopping Federal funding to "Sanctuary States," will that isolate certain states from the whole of the country?

Just reported, Mexico's President cancels meeting with Trump.

I am sure there are a lot of emotions ready to spill over here....but, maybe we can keep it objective?

dunno

In the speculative arena, what do you feel is coming up in the future with Trump at the helm?

Peace in the valley?

Errr... no dont think so. I recently wrote a blog expressing my puzzlement as to why several members had decided to leave CS to grieve over the illness of a fellow blog member.

The blog attracted several distasteful posts critiquing what people thought was my insensitivity on the subject. I had hoped to supply a few quotes, however upon looking for the blog in my list, I find it has been deleted.

I feel vindicated in my skepticism, as those that purported to depart either didnt, or were back blogging within a day. The subject member is now once again active on the blogs despite only 10 days ago issuing a statement that no further posts or replies would be made for a while... if ever!

I accuse no person of deliberation, however, I feel those that participated in said events have made a mockery of the blogs by inciting discord between members.

if Trump loses

I think if Trump loses the presidential election, as a token of appreciation for his efforts, Webster's dictionary should officially recognize the word "bigly" as a word. It would be nice if they even attributed it to Trump.

laugh

For some reason, whenever I hear the word "bigly" out of his mouth, I have to laugh. confused The guy is a genius when it comes to humor. applause

Trump weaponizes the Bible

Forcing peaceful protesters aside - Trump strolls across the way, stands before a church, holds up a Bible and threatens city mayors with overwhelming military force. Kind of like Jesus carrying an AK47 for his sermon on the mount.

WHO KILLED KENNEDY

There are three possible reasons why President Kennedy was assassinated
1 As a result of the Cuban missile crisis. Embarrassment to Kruschev resulting from Russia's climb down from installing missiles in Cuba and the threat this posed to USA.
2 Kennedy's attempts to tackle the Mafia's criminal presence in USA.
3 Kennedy's requests for the CIA to supply info to Russia regarding the knowledge held regarding UFOs. Kennedy apparently sent a request to the CIA to release details of extra terrestrial craft experiences recorded. He possibly thought that such craft if passing over Russia's nuclear silos could be thought to be from USA and may lead to reprisals. The CIA ignored his request apparently.
Three reasons here. Russia, Mafia, CIA.
Any other suggestions?

Covid Tyranny

I want to jump onto the bandwagon; I want to start ranting about the Orwellian tyranny we find ourselves living under. I want to, but I can’t figure out how to make it sound justifiable. I want to be seen as someone who is fearless in standing up to the establishment. A champion of the people, willing to put myself in personal danger to fight for their rights and freedoms. Others have achieved it, and I long to be among their ranks, but I just can’t seem to find anything to warrant making a big fuss about.

I thought my chance had arrived when it became a requirement to wear a mask in public places. Off I went to my local supermarket, fully intending to perform a proper song and dance about being forced to cover my mouth with this vile piece of cloth. Little did I suspect that they had measures in place to undermine my action. When I got there, I was confronted with a polite request to please wear my mask, and there was not a single armed guard to be seen. How in God’s name are you supposed to start a riot over that?

It’s not that I couldn’t think of anything to rant and rave about; I surely could. They were telling me to wear a mask in the interest of public safety; well what about my safety? Does it not matter about my glasses steaming up and putting me at risk of bumping into something? That argument sounded solid at the time of its conception, but when it came to the point of shouting it out publicly, it had somehow lost most of its potency, and I was left unable to speak, lest I might be seen as a big sissy.

What other denial of right or freedom could I demonstrate defiance over, I wondered. What about the restrictions on my freedom of movement? Even when our “lock down” was at its most severe, I found I could come and go pretty much as I pleased, without interference from anybody. So, again, the state had pulled the rug out from under me.

When they were ready to role out the vaccine programme, I thought I’ve finally got them this time. I waited until my call up for vaccination came, thinking that’s when I would make my stand, but when it did come, it was only a bloody invitation to have it. I could just not bother going if I didn’t want to. I think this is when I began to realise I had been defeated. I had been beaten by the lack of state heavy handedness. sigh

Ben Carson on the US presidential race

I heard about his interview from joining in the race but I am a little disappointed by lack of force on the questions asked of him.

I wish I would have him answer questions as to what are the most pressing problems in America today and while on it, the world too.

But no, the questions asked were so irrelevant with the future of America when it comes to peace and progress..

Anyways maybe there are people out there who heard about him.

I do admire the guy, considering his simplicity and non affiliation with greed and manipulation in politics, he might just be our best bet to tackle the job.

What do you think?
