Why do so many Europeans, especially those living on islands, want to be American cowboys?

Seems like, even though there was only a wild wild west in Hollywood, so many people on other continents love the American cowboy culture. Maybe they've watched too many popular western tv shows like Yellowstone? confused

The Most Famous Serial Killers In America And Their Twisted Crimes
The trial of Ted Bundy was the first time in history that a trial was completely televised.
The killings of Ed Gein served as inspiration for the movies Psycho and Silence of the Lambs.
Albert Fish sent a letter to the mother of one of his victims, describing exactly how he killed her.

American
history

is filled with many wondrous achievements and amazing people that left their mark on the country, and also the entire world. However, there are two sides two every coin, and some of the most gruesome crimes ever committed have happened in the United States.

The FBI coined the term serial killer during the 1970s, because of all the killings that were happening across the country. Some of the most known serial killers in the world have performed heinous acts all over the country, and this article will present the ones that were considered the most famous.

7. Ted Bundy

Let us start things off with a name most of you have heard numerous times. Ted Bundy was not what you would consider that a serial killer might look like. He was well educated, handsome, and described by many as incredibly charming. This made his brutal killings even more surprising.

Bundy was raised in a weird family, without a father, and believed his whole life that his grandmother was, in fact, his mother and that his mother was his sister. His childhood and adolescence were challenging, but he managed to graduate from the University of Washington, after which his murderous spree began. His victims were mostly attractive female students, and his first murder was committed in Seattle in 1966.

He killed several more women throughout the next few years and was eventually arrested. However, it doesn’t stop there. He managed to escape police custody twice, moved to Florida and continued killing there. He killed several members of a sorority there, and his final crime is especially gruesome - he raped and murdered a 12-year old girl. He was finally arrested for good and became a media sensation because his trial was fully televised, the first time in history that has happened. He was sentenced to death and executed in 1989.

The Hawk

Damn hawk in my community that really wants to eat my 3 lb Chi. It swoops down to face me standing over Bella and when I turn around the Hawk is hanging still in the air right behind my back. I scoop the dog up from the ground in between my legs and yell. My voice sends the bird flying away.

Now I walk over Bella when she needs to do her business which annoys her but I'm scared not to. The bird must have been in the trees because I can see them in the air but this one just swooped into my vision from not far away. Can't tell you how fast my heart was beating and now how extra cautious I am. I wish I could train her to use a potty pad in the house but at 17 she is not much interested in learning something new and of course she was totally UNaware of her danger.

Why does England still have a lame monarchy?

If the royal family makes so much money for the island why don't he islanders have two monarchies? Get rid of the protected worthless royals and let England become the 51st state of the USA and become something valuable in the world for a change.

All types of Firearms should be allowed in Europe

europeans wouldn't need nato and the usa could take lost money spent on bullshit nato defense for getting mental help for all the troubled people here. Some of the money could be used to fight the war on drugs from china entering through biden's southern port of drug entry in texas. Let europe defend itself. Arm europe to protect America.

Big Pharma and The Food Industry

I can't think of any one person I hate. I let go the feeling of hate many many moons ago. I do however HATE LIKE HELL Big Pharma and The Food Industry. If you have Netlix there is a great show that shows behind the seens of American Government, many things most people do not know, the show is "The G Word" if you have Sling there is another docuseries called "While We Die". Both shows have only 6 episodes, they are not bias but showing fact from way back to now.

Back into the 1940 & 50's the sugar industry tried to tell us how good sugar is and how many of us fed or still feed our children the sugary poison believing the health benefits of the cereal? The ingredient lists on all products gives a percentage of how much calories, carbs, protein, fat is in the product but NOT sugar, they fought congress and won so you won't see how much percentage of sugar is in the product, only the grams. Sugar blamed Fat and so America went Fat Free or Low Fat and became an obese country. Sugar also disguised its name into many different "troses" ex: dextrose etc. Sugar in some form is also usually in the first 3 ingredients. A very profitable industry that could care less about our health because it is so profitable. There is so much more but most people don't even want to be informed so I will stop here with Sugar. The meat Industry is pretty powerful too and confuse you with things like Jimmy Dean Sausage is made by Tyson and so many other brands are all part of four major meat companies that distribute under many different names.

Big Pharma introduced Oxycotin as NON-addictive and a miracle drug. America became addicted. Salesmen to the doctors really believed it when they convinced doctors to buy and perscribe it. Doctor became addicted. Watching the fight with Big Pharma with the government or the FDA was like watching a Whale eat a minnow. BIG Pharma earned it's name and made a fortune on the pain clinics and sale of Oxycotin and of course the already drug addicts had a hayday with it too.

It doesn't matter who are President is but there are many members in Congress that are share holders or officers in these big profit making companies. The shows tell you which member. A bit shocking.

The Pandemic wiped out an awful lot of Americans or made their small business fail while all along making huge profits for Industries that didn't even need the money. The PPE, Payroll Protection Employees program spent billions of dollars in low interest payroll loans for small businesses, yet so many failed as Americans were dying. Guess how many members of Congress got those small business loans to the huge company industry? A lot and they get named too in the documentary.

America is not ready to be woke. I'm not always proud to be an American or even a human for that matter. I don't know if there is a country with a goverment that really cares for its people. I wish I did.

Dehydrating

My next project is to learn how to dehydrate food. I want to make jerky or meat chips. They are very expensive to buy in packages and since I don't trust the food industry I want to make my own because they are delicious.

Before I can start - I have to research the machines to know what to buy and watch a bunch of videos on how to dehydrate what kinds of meats. So far I've learned that the meat has to be SUPER thin and you can get the texture of potato chips which is what I want. Also the first meats I will try will be salami, pepperoni and roast beef, maybe some chicken.

I'm an impatient person so doing all the research keeps me on the edge of excited anxiety.doh

Anyone here have any advise? (man that's a loaded question)

DiY - The Gap

When I bent over to spit toothpaste into the bathroom sink a few mornings ago, I noticed a gap between the backboard and the wall. Asked my brother if anything I can do and he suggested expanding foam. I never heard of it so I watched a million videos on how to use it with none addressing my particular situation.

I have now attempted that foam, waited 24 hours then tried to remove the expansion over the rim. What a fricking mess I've made. Itty bitty little critters were getting in with the gap. Many very tiny bugs that jumped like fleas but much tinier than a flea. Well I've stopped them from coming in but I can't walk in my bathroom without wanting to throw up at how awful I have made it look. Today I am going to attempt to putty it to get a smooth surface. I'm really not sure if I should use putty or caulk. I'm very tempted to just put masking tape on it and call it a fricken job NOT well done, but done never-the-less.
