My Benny didn't moult, being a Maltese, he handled the summer heat quite well
I did toss him in a cool bath when we got up to 40s but then he'd go lie on the boiling concrete step in the sun to dry off

My dogs, especially the Staffie, are sunworshippers
She goes from boiling herself in the sun to dragging herself to a cool place just long enough to go boil herself again!

Yes he's already figured out that the tiled floor in the laundry is nice and cool, he'll acclimatise in time I guess

a shade cover for him out side with a roundy sprinkler. Trim him too. Full bowl of water inside and out.
Clean crisp water.
If you are cool he will want to be with you yet,
Body heat can over heat him, he needs, as you, fresh cool air.
find a room that's cool.
he will get to know,
Then leave him.
He will love it.
You won't
And he will come to you when he is hungry or wants to play.
Take him back to the cool room.
Love hugs all that, he will get to know that.
Doors open.
All Good.
Leave his food and treats not in a room where he sleeps.
He can sleep where ever.
Always point to what you want him to do. They are very bright. Be stern.
