MiguelUknow: Are you against recycling Molly?
No, I am very pro-recycling

As long as the recycling isn't doing more harm than good

mollybaby: A lot of treatment is needed to ensure it is pathogen-free

If it could be done easily and cheaply with safe results, it would be a good idea
Your if seems to indicate that you don't think it is being done.

ali110: name the breed plz
The larger dogs have too many other issues that need to be addressed. I would suggest a cattle dog, or possibly a short-hair Shetland Sheep dog. Remember, it's about the initial warning: an intruder can easily maim or kill even the largest dog. Get it? The smaller dog will do the same job you want done, and be much easier to handle and keep. Trust me. hug

ali110: exactly , it will have a big house with a front yard to play and I will take it with m on the farm so it will be free most of time
For a dog to be a good "killer dog" it needs to be trained properly otherwise it will go after anyone.

Check with your police department to find out what they do with dogs that they retire from the K9 unit.

A dog that wasn't on your list is the pitbull. It is not a dog that you can let it run lose on your property. They are born with the instinct to attack.

You don't need a "killer dog" Ali. An average family pet who is around YOU all the time will be naturally aggressive to people it does not know. I know this for a fact because we have dogs in our family.

My baby girl has a huge German shepherd, he's a sweet heart, though you would not tell that by his looks. Has his own maneuvre as well, you have to be in command all the time no matter what.

I personally would recommend a man with a gun for guard and protection. Less trouble and might be cheaper in the long run.
